Description: Madison is a child who is a little more prideful in what she has, but doesn't show interest in reaching out to made herself look or feel better than she already is. Her most prominently unique features are her snow white hair and ruby red eyes. Both are naturally occurring and are out of hereditary genes. She had hair that reaches down to the bend of her back in length and bangs that contours around her eyes and brings them out more naturally. Normally, Madi prefers to keep her hair down, but would style it varying on situations mostly ranging from a simply pony tail, a braid, or even a bun. Clothing wise, there's no necessary set outfit that she wears more often than others, or at least since she was little that is. A long sleeved purple top with a gold trimming, a lavender colored ascot like scarf, and a long, white colored skirt with a frilled edging to it. White colored stocking with a pair of black buckle shoes is nearly the only outfit she had worn growing up, both in winter and in summer weathers, though she tends to occasionally wears this out of an old habit, though she tries not to if she can help it. Other clothing choices vary on weather and her overall mood.

PERSONALITY

Personality: Madi's personality is a bit of the jumpy sorts. Varying in what circumstance you had come across her in, she could be the sweetest person you could meet or in other instances she could be cold and uncaring as if tossing trash into the wind, and so on. For the most part, she is very calm and collected and highly intelligent for a girl her age. Rendering near the age and maturity of someone well in their early 20's to 30's, Madi tends to be above most things children and those around her age would do. She prefers to do nearly nothing but read a book and enjoy conversations with people who may share her "love" of them. Reading, aside from old family "bonding" was her only real hobby in life, though if you would ask her a it her family she would simply lie about it. She harbors a deep hatred for her family, wanting nothing to do with it and the surrounding country that they ran. She is cold and uncaring around this certain topic, will do anything to avoid or change it, and at most just simply walk off without a single care for who the party in question who had tried to bring it up.

Combat is also an issue from which Madison thrives, but also lacks the experience. She isn't built up for combat physically at all, but mentally she is as sharp as a tack. Her memory of her magic, those she's met and acknowledged what form of magic they used if it was even presented before are fresh in her mind. She uses her magic and strategic mapping of areas in order to make up for the lack of physical prowess she doesn't have, but does not simply do nothing to keep herself active. She does a bit of running and other small exercises so she could keep in shape instead of some lanky, wilted flower with no strength to hold up its budding flower, so to speak. While in combat, her mind tunnels on two things; the opponent of the combat, and the environment surrounding them. Keeping an eye on where she is at all times is important to her so that she is able to map out what spells would benefit her the most from her position, how to set herself up to use a certain spell against an opponent, and so on. Here is never a moment in combat to which Madison never considers less than two options to which she could take a turn to attack someone, but to her, the ends of her actions are always justifiably correct and lacks any care for people who are stupid enough to stay and watch mages fight. If they got hurt, they're at fault and deserve absolutely no remorse or any consideration what so ever.

From whats been explained by Madison's personality, some would believe she was rather dark, almost evil of sorts without realizing it, however that isn't really the case at all. More so, her alignment would be defined to be more Chaotic Good because of her more outgoing and friendly personality, but also the more cold and calculating form of combat. It could be perceived that she is a dark Mage because of her combative side, but that would be a false notion. Madison in her own mind refuses to take sides without a reason to do so. There's no way she would get involved with sides after she had to deal with her family's crap for her short, but entire life none the less.

Motivations: Something that motivates Madison is the desire to change herself. She has things about her that she despises, parts that she had gotten in her mind as a child that are almost of complete intuition and basic thought.

Fears: Madison fears returning back to the life she once had. As any other person her age, she tends to think she knows what's best for her. However, unlike most of them, she has a more mature and intelligent state of mind. She had despised her families business and way of life, and she wanted nothing to do with keeping it that way, she became a run away with enough money and knowledge to thrive on her own.

Another fear Madison has is the thought of being used. Whether it be for her power, for her knowledge, or because of her former family ties. It's her reason for hiding to the best of her ability; the change in last name, the move from the town in which she was born in, and lastly her unwillingness to affiliate with the mage guilds surrounding the country.

Likes:

  • Reading is the furthermost enjoyable thing for her to do. She constantly has a book with her unless another reason would prevent her from coming prepared.
  • Nature is wondrous and enjoyable site. Everything from the scientific functionalities of the way that nature works, to the animals that help keep the functioning smoothly running about.
  • Making friends is a new thing for Madi to be able to do, and she enjoys it very much. It wouldn't matter who they were in terms of a normal person, a mage, an older person, and so on. She wants to be able to make friends and preferably those who don't know of her family, so long as she doesn't know of the childs true last name.

Dislikes:

  • Rereading the same book is rather boring. Having albeit a photographic memory, Madison tends to remember especially reading a book, and wouldn't like to find out she can't read a new book.
  • Narcissism is one of the quirks of a persons personality that Madi finds to really be disgusted by. The ill care of other people was one of the reasons she had become so sick of her families lifestyle and left in the first place.
  • Her own decisions can come to be more of a menace than it is a help sometimes. Habits of her families way of life are almost instinctual in Madi, which can lead her to do things that she wouldn't normally find acceptable, but in her mind she considers it correct, but despises that she can't change her mind about it.

Positive Characteristics: 12

  • Deceitful (+2): You have a knack for disguising the truth. Your lies are difficult to distinguish from the truth.
Explanation: Players can lie to enemies when being questioned and won't get caught if they're lying.
  • Diligent (+2): Your meticulousness allows you to analyze minute details that others miss.
Explanation: Reduces training cost of spells by 10% in word cost.
  • High Society (+2): You know good manners and were trained to handle social interactions in noble circles. This is useful in requests involving members of the highest levels of society, such as monarchs, nobles, courtiers, lords and ladies, and high-ranking clerics.
Explanation: You are capable of having threads with nobles. Those without this feat cannot.
  • Persuasive (+2): You have a way with words and body language. Somehow you manage to persuade weaker minded people easily.
Explanation: When using this feat, players will have to roll a bronze die. Failure to land on a number results in them agreeing with you.
  • Zealot (+4): This person has trained themselves to wield a specific type of weapon. This weapon can be mentioned behind the Zealot feat within brackets to claim it upon approval.
Explanation: Player is capable of wielding a weapon and receives one at start. The starter weapon is always common and without any magical properties but may upgraded later on. (Short lengthed Katana)

Negative Characteristics: 12

  • Bad Reputation (-1): You have a reputation that angers or frightens people. Examples include being unlucky, petty, or cruel. The rep may or may not be accurate, but in either case, word travels faster than you do.
Explanation: You can't communicate easily with non player characters. Somehow they've heard of you and the things they've heard weren't too good. (Her bad reputation comes from her appearance and her maiden name. Appearance is a unique characteristic of her countries looks and the rumors spread in other places could come back to haunt her. Her maiden name on top of her appearance is a reassurance that she be made known to the public, thus making her paranoid that she'll be hunted down and taken back or worse; killed.)
  • Curiosity (-1): You're a naturally curious person and you find mysteries of any sort irresistible. In most circumstances, alas, your curiosity overrides your common sense. This forces you to investigate something unusual, even if it looks like it might be dangerous.
Explanation: You will walk deeper into the forest you have never been before. You won't turn around from the castle that you have never seen. This can result into getting you into very dangerous situations.
  • Daredevil (-2): You only really feel alive when you're staring death in the face. Your character is addicted to the thrill of death-defying stunts, pushing themselves to the limit at every available opportunity.
Explanation: You can't refuse the opportunity of engaging into combat with anyone or anything that is stronger than you. You also always volunteer and perform tasks that have a risk attached to them when you are in a group.
  • Dark Secret (-1): You have some sort of secret that, if revealed, would make you an outcast amongst your society and companions. While this secret is on your mind at all times, it will come up in topics only once in a while, but when it does, watch out! (Madi's Dark Secret is that she is the successor to her family's mafia. She believes she'll be used as ransom, as just some power source for either information or for magic, or just hunted down because of it.
Explanation: You must think about your dark secret at least one out of ten posts. When things that are relevant to the dark secret are brought up you can't stop thinking about it.
  • Derangement/Insanity (-3): Due to circumstances beyond your control, you are permanently insane. You may have a congenital brain disorder, or perhaps you saw something mortals were never intended to lay eyes upon, and it drove you mad. Choose a Derangement/Insanity for your character from the lists below. Though the list is by no means exhaustive, the following options are ones that have been presented in game terms and that have definable--and most times numerical--penalties.

    1. Compulsions: The character insists on performing ritual actions, such as touching a doorway at left, right, and top before passing through it. Though she may agree that the actions are senseless, the need to perform them is overpowering.
Explanation: The character must do their compulsion, regardless of adverse affects--including bodily harm. (Madi's Compulsion is fiddling with her hair. This is just a passive thing, mostly while reading books, but she seems to do it without a logical reason aside from knowing that it's an uncontrollable compulsion of hers.)

  • Intolerance (-1): You have an irrational dislike of a certain thing. It may be an animal, a class of person, a situation, or just about anything at all. Note that some dislikes may be too trivial or ridiculous to count--a dislike of Bavarian-crème-filled donuts or mechanical pencils, for example, has no real dramatic value and will not be allowed.
Explanation: You must act very disgusted and displeased when your dislike comes into play. (Narcissism)
  • Reckless (-1): You lack the emotion of fear. Unfortunately, it is often an important cue that keeps men from doing foolhardy things. Sure, you don't flinch at the sight of even the most hideous monster, but neither do you feel the need to run away when outclassed.
Explanation: You can never flee from a fight with someone who is stronger than you.
  • Righteous (-1): The end justifies the means. You are willing to perform morally repugnant actions in order to achieve noble goals. Unfortunately, this can alienate those people who might support your cause if you didn't use such heavy-handed methods.
Explanation: Your beliefs guide you so strongly that you are willing to kill an entire village that's harboring a thief, if it kills the thief too.
  • Overzealous (-1): You are incapable of having a weak opinion. Everything you believe, you believe as if your life depended on it. Everything you don't believe in, you hate with a passion.
Once in a while your flaw gets you to strongly defend one of your opinions, no matter how inappropriate the time and place, nor what the circumstances of such an outburst may be.
Explanation: If someone goes against your beliefs, you violently defend the beliefs, even if the person is your ally.

MAGIC

Magic: Sky God Slayer
Type: Caster

Being corrupted, the winds from this magic are black, and thus deal more damage to those who are of a god like affinity such as God themed magics, descendants, or gods themselves take more damage. As for the elemental aspect, this magic can deal more damage towards plant and metal based magics, while its also weaker towards Earth and fire based magics. In terms of how this magic is used, it has a very versatile Arsenal of offensive, defensive, and supplementary (buff/debuff) spells.

HISTORY

History: The story begins in a country outside of Fiore, one more of an Arctic type of climate. Much more so the standing that the winter months were longer, and more brutal than a traditional countries in comparison. The summers were slightly shorter, and with very wild temperatures to boot its differential seasons as opposed to other places. The family from which Madison had come to be born into was a more higher classed and important family. Nothing like a politician, though a couple were under their thumb. The civilization was a little more old fashioned in comparison to Fiore in the way of technological advances, or more so in the way that they had at least used some of them without becoming reliant on them. For many many years, the country had thrived on it's own ecosystem paying off in making them a self sufficient society without the need for many outside things other than to further increase the global economy through a series of barters and trades.

The Lunapose family had leg generation after generation of a very underground, but feared syndicate of a "family" of mafia. Much like any other powerful organized crime unit (in a sense), this mafia had their hands in the shadows of those in even the greatest seats of power from politics, to law enforcement, even into education. Of course, nothing went without an a little kick back to pushing for higher education. Starting early with upbringings made things easier to keep their new generation of people deep in their pockets so that the new leader could have a long, easy running of the family business and make the family name live on. And in that, brings us to Madison's rearing as a child.

The first born daughter of the Don directly in bloodline to him was given the name of his mothers mother; Madison. Of course, as a first born and regardless of gender, Madi was brought up with high and strict teachings. She had been home schooled and tutored, not that things were hard for her. She had more of a behavioral stand point, first hand showings of the family's daily routines, their methods, habits, business, and so on. Of course, she was given choices of leisurely activities in the gaps of schooling and family learnings. Reading, cooking, accounting, and barber were only a few both simple, but also complicated choices. Some had included the idea of a job or cover to keep herself from being obviously found and targeted as the head of her families mafia. In her choices however, she picked to read because it was both simple, but rather calming to her thoughts when she studied, so reading books seemed like it would be the best of ideas.

Truthfully, it wasn't really a fun idea for her to be able to sit in such a high seat one day and having to fill the shoes of her father. She didn't like it honestly, but she had to because of her families line of succession, and there weren't any younger siblings at that time anyway. There was talk that her mother had gotten pregnant recently, but there wasn't any real idea if it were true as she was left out of the loop. Any time the child had wanted to leave, she was escorted from the home by others to and from, sometimes during. The only privacy had been with going to the bathroom, less she had a female escort, and in that case only in the stalls did she have anything close to alone time to calm her nerves from the constant overshadowing. And even in such a situation, she was treated almost like royalty to some degree. She had people that would help her in the mornings with certain routines from getting dressed, though her attire never changed due to family orders, brushing and/or styling her hair, setting up bathes or prepping for after one, and so on.

The entirety of it all was more than Madison could call enjoyable. It was more of a burden, taking away her independent tasks of her own hygienic care, her inability to be able to function without over lookers and escorts taking her places and pushing her away from onlooking. The older she got, the further her mind developed, the more her mind had gone and changed through the growing violence that had been her families lifestyle. However, much like all children's developing minds are, they were almost natural by nature, but rejected by opinion. She hated this lifestyle entirely and refused to herself to keep moving it on. She hid this for a few years, not many though as the build up had been small but persistent.

Among other family heirlooms, Madison had come across one that was unique in appearance, and was easy to show that it was nearly untouched. Intrigued by this, the child pulled it off the shelf and snuck into her room. She cracked the book open and the pages were blank. The oddity of it all had left her confused and astonished. Why would anyone leave something like this behind? She touched the pages she had been looking at, ready to turn the page, then the books pages turned black with light and pushed out a gusting wind. The wind was visible, colored black and circled around her room before they shot back into the book, this time coloring it with black text in a runic language of sorts. As her ruby eyes laid upon the books text, the strange text was easily readable to her, though never once in her life did she see these before. Still, she read through the entirety of the book like any other she had before. The book had instructions of a magic, and nothing that was simple nor complex either. In fact, she had heard of other forms of magic but nothing as unique as this.

With a smile on her face, she hid this book and began to shut herself in her room as much as she could freely do alone. She would go to the book and begin practicing the smaller techniques until she would have them down fluently, going over them numerous times and using them as warm up practices before going into the more advanced ones. After some time, getting the rhythm of what this book had described to be "God Slaying" magic, Madison had all she needed to do what she had been wanting to do for years; leave. To find a new country that had not known of her family, her mob even, and live in hiding. She waited until night, sneaking out and using tunnels that led all over the town the family used to hide in times of laying low until she got to the one closest to the edge of town, and vanished.

She spent some time out traveling, headed to small villages and resting or spending time resting in forests. Finally, she came across her target country; Fiore. A large, advanced country that had a vast population of mages and overall general people. There was perfect to hide, as unique features of people in all shapes and sizes lived in unison with one another, so could she. Of course, what with the research she would pick up in arriving to the first library to pick up information about her new home, she would come to know of the existence of mage guilds and the locations of those that were on public record of their locations. Easy enough; avoid. those. towns. Why you may ask? Well, should she be in a position where she becomes more famous, she would end up having her life leaked out and it getting back to her home was of utmost importance that it be prevented. As such, she took her time to develop a simple, short alternate last name, a backstory, and why a child her age was alone instead of around a parent; Richter - Her favorite composers last name, and made for a quick use, and her story was her parents died in a house fire, leaving her with no other family, and only jobs as a mage to keep herself going, though th child took plenty of her families money to keep her going should she need it, though extravagance was hardly in her liking. The more basic stuff made it stretch longer and easy to stay relaxed.

Hello, Madison. I'm Irelia (though you already know me) and I'm in charge of grading your app. It's an overall flawless application, very-well described character and magic. Though, there are a few "flaws" which you should correct before being approved. The list of things that must be corrected can be found below;

  • NEGATIVE CHARACTERISTICS: Please state what your character's Bad Reputation is between brackets.
  • NEGATIVE TRAITS: Please state what is your character's Dark Secret between brackets.
  • OTHERS: There is a random [ list] code at the bottom of your application. It's not compulsory, but you could erase it if you want.

Bump upon correction.
