Rank: A
Guild: Alabaster Wolves
Face Claim: Genos-Opm
APPEARANCE
Height: 5'10
Weight: 150lbs
Hair: Short, Neck Length, Red
Eyes: Blue
Description: Quill is about average size for a person of his stature. Kind of underweight for someone that is as tall as him but that is due to well he values being in good physical shape. He always keeps his hair short and tied back in order to keep it out of his eyes and has a scar on his right shoulder. He wears glasses as his eyesight is kind of poor though that is not really a weakness being that he can see well enough without his glasses. His body is in great shape with both legs and arms being well toned in a way that you could not tell he was so underweight.
PERSONALITY
Personality: Quill is very positive. He likes to smile regardless of whether or not the smile is actually genuine. He basically has painted it on for as long as he was able to remember not really knowing when was the last time that he was able to do so and it mean more than just a front for those who knew him. He likes to laugh and speak with others, even those who do not actually know him. That aspect of his personality is actually a real quality as he has always been that type of guy. His nature of like that of a teacher as because of how his age is in comparison to other people he has to kind of be a stand-up guy when dealing with those that are not as old as him or as mature as he makes himself out to be to those that he associates with. A lot of what quill shows people is kind of a front. He does not enjoy telling people about his past or speaking about himself at all. When asked about anything aside from the face value aspects of his life, Quill is quick to alter the conversation to another direction so long as he is able to move it away from him. Quill is just kind of an odd guy.
Motivations: A. Memory: Quill lost a bit of his past but still tends to get bits and pieces of it every so often. He is motivated by the want to make these pieces match.
B. Family: Like his memory, Quill lost his family not in death but rather due to silly disputes and him being unable to swallow his pride. Though he gets letters from them once in a while, he has not seen them in over a decade and hopes to one day meet them again.
C. Finality:  He wants to establish true finality over his life. This means that when he dies he will have no regrets and nothing will be undone as he passes on to the afterlife.
Fears: A. Regret: Quill fears regretting things that go against the finality that he has set aside for his life. His regret would follow him into the afterlife and drag him down uncertainty.
B. Protection:  To enter a state of being forced to be protected is a fear of Quill. This fear stems from him being afraid of being weak and having to refer to others as a means to protect him and continue his own livelihood.
C. Control: with finality comes control and losing that would be like losing a part of what makes Quill himself.  To lose finality is to basically give up on everything that Quill has worked to obtain up to the point that he within his life.
Likes: A. Coffee: Quill enjoys coffee not to the point of addiction but rather enjoys having the occasional cup every now and again just to give himself a lecture.
B. Music: Music offers Quill the much needed relaxation that he requires to maintain a healthy balance in his life. He listens to music and sings aloud at most of the chances he can get.
C. Training: If music is not providing the healthy boon that he needs, Quill will turn to training his mind and body as a way to take the edge off and relax from stress.
Dislikes: A. Excuses: Taking responsibility for the actions you choose and the things that happen in your life because of them is a big part of what Quill puts on his life. Excuses show that one does not want to admit their fault in what has happened in their life.
B. Ignorance: Ignorance is by definition ignoring the facts presented to them. To submit to ignorance is to give up on the logic presented which Quill sees to be just as bad as making excuses because they both ultimately lead to cowardice.
C. Chaos: Chaos serves no purpose other than to oppose order. While Quill understands the balance he still does not agree with unnecessary Chaos as he views it as nothing more than a waste of time.
Positive Characteristics:

  • High Society (+2): You know good manners and were trained to handle social interactions in noble circles. This is useful in requests involving members of the highest levels of society, such as monarchs, nobles, courtiers, lords and ladies, and high-ranking clerics. Explanation: You are capable of having threads with nobles. Those without this feat cannot.
  • Blindsight (+4): Using senses such as acute hearing and sensitivity to vibrations, you detect the location of opponents who are no more than five feet away from you. Darkness and Invisibility are irrelevant, though you cannot detect non corporeal beings. Explanation: Self Explanatory.
  • Athletic (+3): You have a knack for athletic endeavors.
Explanation: Ability to jump 10 meters in a single bound.

Negative Characteristics:

  • Judgmental (-1): You form opinions quickly and change them very slowly. You also have a tendency to judge people on their appearance. A man dressed as a pirate, no matter how gentlemanly, is a scoundrel and a dog as far as you is concerned. A man covered in mud is a peasant, and a woman wearing revealing clothing is a prostitute. Explanation: You must act very disgusted and displeased when your dislike comes into play.
  • Overzealous (-1): You are incapable of having a weak opinion. Everything you believe, you believe as if your life depended on it. Everything you don't believe in, you hate with a passion. Once in a while your flaw gets you to strongly defend one of your opinions, no matter how inappropriate the time and place, nor what the circumstances of such an outburst may be. Explanation: If someone goes against your beliefs, you violently defend the beliefs, even if the person is your ally.
  • Inattentive (-1): Your mind has a habit of drifting off at inopportune moments. It flits from one thought to the next so fast that you have trouble getting it to concentrate on the here and now. As such, you are particularly unaware of your surroundings.
Explanation: You must drift off at least one out of five posts.
  • Indecisive (-1): You have been known to hesitate when faced with difficult choices or split-second decisions. If forced to choose between letting a villain escape and rescuing a loved one from being lowered into a snake pit, you're likely to agonize over the situation until something--perhaps a cry for help from your sweetheart--forces your hand.
Explanation: You take too much time when making decisions. You can never instantly make a decision when it is presented to you.
  • Lecherous (-1): You have a lusty nature and a tendency to pursue the pleasures of the flesh. A woman or a man (however your tastes run) is an almost irresistible temptation to you. You give in to these temptations easily.
Explanation: If fighting or RPing with someone of your sexual preference, you must act lecherous towards them once every three posts.
  • Allergies (-1): You are afflicted with allergies. These may be something as simple as hay fever, but the reactions to such will result in something like a huge bout of sneezing and gasping. You must mention this allergy in your character application.
Explanation: Whenever this allergy comes into play you must suffer the consequences. The allergy must be something that can actually come and not something strange and unique.(Water Lily)
  • Derangement/Insanity (-3): Due to circumstances beyond your control, you are permanently insane. You may have a congenital brain disorder, or perhaps you saw something mortals were never intended to lay eyes upon, and it drove you mad. Choose a Derangement/Insanity for your character from the lists below. Though the list is by no means exhaustive, the following options are ones that have been presented in game terms and that have definable--and most times numerical--penalties.

Generalized Anxiety Disorder: The character suffers from a variety of physical and emotional symptoms that can be grouped into certain categories (select a single category).
Explanation: Character has a tendency to snap at people for no reason.

MAGIC
Magic: High Speed Magic
Type: Caster
Element: None I assume. Let me know if i can cop an element.
Description: Can't make until system is done.
HISTORY
History:
Adolescence: (5+): Quill had been living and conscious for five years and hated how his life turned out. His family was miserable but could not control their own basic instincts so they had children that would as well as they had turn out miserable. It was an endless cycle that he was given by the cruel mistress Fate but he felt that he would do best to make it positive and deal with it just as he had in the earlier years of his life that he could remember. He was just a child using what he was dealt to be something better than that of his parents. What more could you ask from a child.

Middle Adolescence: Desolation and all that was something people had no interest in actively looking for but really they just happened to find it regardless of the good intentions that they told the people they knew that they were holding to. That was how things went or at least how quill saw them.  His town was bleh and his family was even more bleh. He just tended to walk around and stand in the background not because he didn’t want to be a bother but rather he just found it better to keep to his own self. He walked around the house and noticed once more that his mother and father were fighting as per the usual stigma of how his day went. Listening to the ramblings of the family he was cruelly given by fate. Complaining was kind of selfish given how some people would kill for a family to care about them but Quill did not really care. They treated him like crap most of the time and up to his current age of sixteen, beat him like some kind of animal. In reality he knew that he was even less than that to them and did not take it as hard as he knew that they really did not know better. He just got bored with being a witness to the constant cycle of abuse and hatred that they felt for each other. The sound of a bell rang as he knew that it was time to leave for the event of the day had just happened and he was to be present to be as it was created by his own family. His little brother had just been born.

Adulthood (18+): Things were scatted on the floor. Trash and glass strewn on the hallways as Quill had finally gotten tired of the things that his family, primarily his father wished to inflict on him. They had been fighting for minutes and it was all because of his father’s resistance of him being a man and able to take him down and assume control of the household. Quill slammed his father on the ground and stared at the weak man cursing him and spitting not on him but in his direction just to get the message across. He knew what this called for and before they could even kick him out he was already out the door. As he walked, he could hear his youngest brother calling out to him. He had a good relationship with him but knew that he could not stay as well as not answer the pleas of his brother and take him with so all was lost. Quill smiled ruffled his hair and told him he would be back hiding the lie behind the tears that fell from his face. He knew he would not be back and could only hope he run into him on his homeless travels. He left his home and looked at his brother before noticing a stinging pain in his arm. A gash from the shattered table that he put his father through hung on to him like the love he had for his brother and the hate he carried for his father. He chuckled and assured himself that the gash would not leave that bad of a scar.

Adulthood Con (23+): Quill throughout his travels after leaving his family encountered the man who would end up saving his life and his destiny. His master who took a man who had no direction into his home and for his family that he had lost made this man his son. Quill knew he would never be able to repay the man for what he had done for him. He was trained in the ways of the mage and taught to hone his mind and body to rely more on the body than like most mages use magic. His ways made quill a strong man. These forms of training made him into a machine. Quill studied as well as magic and with the arts as well learning the proper ways to speak to others and learn from them. This man turned a homeless male into a cultured individual who knew the ways of persuasion. With his help, Quill was given a second chance. The next day happened and he did his usual practice of waiting for the mailman. He every so often got a letter from his little brother who was 7 now. How he was able to determine the primary location of his brother was confusing but Quill was just happy he still had him somewhat in his life. Things apparently got better as he left and even though this was saddening to hear, he was happy that his brother was spared to sadness he became victim to. He would not have to go through the bullshit that was Quill’s life.

Present (25) : Quill left his host father and went on to face the world. He was raised as a man and taught how he would survive in life and because of this lesson Quill would become the man that he is now. His next goal was a promise that he made. He would use his lessons and experiences to make himself a prominent member of whatever guild that he saw fit. The only question was what guild would he make home. His idea was decided as he headed to Valderice. His home was found and he hoped he would be welcomed. He found his home to be the guild of Alabaster Wolves. He entered the city and it was like a rush of relief away from the cruelty of his past had been banished from his mind for the first time in a while. He was with family now.
