General Appearance: Sera is an incredibly short young woman, often being mistaken for a child in some cases, though her personality usually exposes her true age later. She doesn't show many signs of being as old as she is, she isn't overly curvy or incredibly beautiful as some women her age might be. She dresses fairly modestly, sometimes in normal clothes for the season that any other person on the street might be wearing, and sometimes in an odd cat outfit; her reason for wearing such an outfit is unclear. She generally has ink stains of all colors somewhere on her outfits, if not all over.

III. PERSONALITY

Personality: Sera is, by all standards, a great comrade and an even greater friend. Her beliefs seem to general coincide with a more rebellious agenda, but she usually doesn't let that get in the way of being a good friend. Her more rebellious side seems to lend to her nonchalant view of most serious matters, some say she could live through a war and not even realize she was in any danger. She isn't ignorant or lazy, just more focused on other things. She doesn't have time to feel despair or woe when she's in the middle of a battle. On the other hand she seems to take things incredibly seriously whenever she feels that her own freedom is being put to the side. She always takes her freedom of choice quite seriously, refusing to allow anyone to order her around. This isn't always the case, she knows when she needs to take orders such as in the case of a crisis, but she never seems to enjoy those situations. She doesn't let anyone infringe on the freedoms of her friends either, and takes it as a personal insult when someone makes an attempt to do so. Still, she's quite polite to people she likes and respects, but she can become as cold as the arctic when someone pushes her around.

Likes:

• Writing- Sera is an avid writer and artist, having been working with a brush almost all her life. She spends hours just trying out new inks from all over the world, turning them into spectacular new creations.
  
• Showing Her Magic- Sera loves to display her magical proficiency before other people, and given the chance she won't hesitate to do so.
  
• Being Around Friends- A good time had with friends just can't be beat, and Sera knows that without her friends she would have never gotten to where she is now.
  
• Learning About Dragons- Sera's own past makes this a given. She's quite driven to learn as much as she can about dragons. She always keeps any book she can find on the subject, even if she's supposed to return it.
  

Dislikes:

• Mud- There is nothing that can ruin ink quicker than dropping it into mud. Rain may be beautiful, but mud is no good for anyone.
  
• Explosives- Explosives are simple items made only for creating devastation, there is no fine art to it. Sera cannot stand the use of explosives for any reason, there always has to be a better solution.
  
• Poachers- As much as Sera likes to eat she would never stoop so low as to poach animals for it. She despises poachers of all kinds, viewing their kind as worse than trash.
  
• Bossy People- Sera will never listen to people who are so arrogantly bossy. She can't stand their kind, more often than not she throws pie in their faces.
  

Motivations: Sera is driven by a passionate desire to attain enough power, on her own, to construct a masterwork of both art and written word. Something so impressive and exquisite that it would make even gods and dragons envious.

Fears:

• Demons- Sera has read legends of demons that coerce humans and seek to destroy the world, these readings have put a great fear in her heart when it comes to demonic magics, creatures, and their casters.
  
• Bad Luck- Superstitious would be the most clear cut way to describe Sera in some cases. She is incredibly wary of bad luck and will take precautions to avoid it out of sheer fear of what might happen.

• Curiosity (-1): You're a naturally curious person and you find mysteries of any sort irresistible. In most circumstances, alas, your curiosity overrides your common sense. This forces you to investigate something unusual, even if it looks like it might be dangerous.
  Explanation: You will walk deeper into the forest you have never been before. You won't turn around from the castle that you have never seen. This can result into getting you into very dangerous situations.

Magic: Dragon Calligraphy

Description: Anyone can write, this much is clear to any person. But Dragon Calligraphy is special. While normal calligraphy is but another skill that anyone can learn, Dragon Calligraphy is both writing and art. By molding ink into calligraphic words, and then by molding those words into a shape as even stronger ink creations the magic takes shape as a highly variable and powerful work of art. The possibilities of Dragon Calligraphy are endless, each new configuration produces new results with each test. In this sense, the pen does become mightier than the sword. Sera can control every aspect of the ink she conjures, giving her a wide repertoire of spells to use.
Strengths: Dragon Calligraphy finds strength in its unpredictability, the endless variations of the kind of spells that can be formed makes the magic very hard to get a grasp on. The very nature of the magic relies on its variability and makes Sera a powerful opponent to fight in almost any scenario. Another advantage for the magic are its stealth capabilities. Ink is dark and hard to see at times, making it useful to utilize in situations where a bit of tact is needed in combat.
Weaknesses: Dragon Chef's main weakness would be it's material. Water can more easily dissolve the ink conjured by Sera's hand, making it far more difficult to fight mages who wield water magic or to fight in water filled areas. Another weakness is that Sera needs use of her hands if she is to work her magic, wielding ink in Dragon Calligraphy is much like sing a molding magic, hands are absolutely necessary. This means if her hands are impeded in almost any way she will not be able to use her magic.

V. HISTORY

History: Sera Pandora, an odd name for a child from an odd place. Sera was born in Fiore, but not in any village or city. She was born to a family whose clan traveled the land in a wandering caravan. Her father died in an attack on the caravan by raiders when she was very young, but Sera grew up happily with her mother. Her mother was  a novice user of magic at the best, one of the four members of the clan who were at the time, but Sera did not learn much from her. Sera's grandmother taught her everything she needed to know, including how to wield her own magic. Her grandmother saw how wonderful of an artist her granddaughter was, how she could turn even the most basic of melanic ingredients into a work of beauty that would leave even nobles envious. Such a gift needed to be trained, elevated into higher levels of skill, and Sera was happy to learn as much as she could.

Her grandmother, over the years, showed her the way of the ancestors of their clan. To hone and wield the power of the Dragon Calligraphers, Sera would need to learn all of lessons of her ancestors. The members of the clan were originally dragon worshipers, they saw dragons as deities and sought to please them through offerings of gold and art, the later of which were magically prepared by the notorious Dragon Calligraphers. The magical qualities of the Dragon Calligraphy arts had been passed down through generations in those days, but before Sera no one had been able to revive the lost art in many years. But with will and knowledge Sera carved her way through the lessons and teachings of the past to emerge as the first Dragon Calligrapher in centuries. It was a time of prosperity for the clan, with the words she formed Sera was able to give the people of her clan new hope for the future. Yet out among the rest of the world is where Sera saw her destiny. Her grandmother had long since told her that her gift was one that was meant to be shared with all the world. Her beautiful talent compelled Sera to spread it's bounty across the entire nation. With the blessing of her clan Sera left the green hills of the wilds to look for new opportunities in the cities and towns that dotted the realm. She vowed to return one day, an accomplished Dragon Calligrapher.
