II. APPEARANCE

Height: 6'3
Weight: 200Lbs
Hair: Black
Eyes: Yellow
General Appearance:  Tall and well muscled, he has long legs and arms of an athlete. His hair is long and mostly hangs loose, but tied back with a blue string. His skin is tanned dark, and even all over, his eyes cat shaped and yellow. He wears what looks like light brown leather clothing with no sleeves and laced in the front like a tunic. His pants are similar in design but longer and fit tight to him.
Extra: He wears wrappings around his wrists, hands, and feet. Has a set of gold anklets, bracelets, collar, and headband.

III. PERSONALITY

Personality: Salem is a strange and energetic person. He has a very strong personality and is not afraid to show it. He is loud and talkative, Always looking for something to do. When he meets someone new he looks to see if they are a challenger. Salem is filled with ambition he burns with a desire to grow stronger and become one of the most powerful wizards ever seen. If he feels that he can get stronger for coming out on top of a challenge he will take it on till he is red in the face, beaten into a bloody pulp, or standing on top with a huge toothy smile on his face. He has never been one to try an avoid an attack if he feels that he can get in a good enough attack to take out what ever challenge is ahead of him. He is all in all a friendly guy, but there are times where he just loses track of what he was doing and drifts off into his own little world. with all of his energy he seems to have developed a strange twitch, and it is sometimes hard for him to stay still in one spot.

Motivations: Strength. He wants to become one of the most powerful wizards to ever exist.
Fears: He has a strange fear of inanimate objects that looks eerily human and inhuman at the same time.
Positive Traits:

Negative Traits:

  • Ambitious (-1): You crave power. Money is nice, but being in charge of other people is your favorite thing. You are likely to be brought down by attempting a risky grab for power and failing. Even when deals are risky you will give in and agree most of times.

  • Bravado (-2): You are rash in combat, refusing to show weakness by falling back from your enemies' blows. You either face it and stop it, or get hit in the progress. In addition, you cannot fight defensively.

  • Clumsiness (-1): You have the unfortunate habit of dropping things, knocking things over, or tripping.

  • Daredevil (-2): You only really feel alive when you're staring death in the face. Your character is addicted to the thrill of death-defying stunts, pushing themselves to the limit at every available opportunity.

  • Derangement/Insanity: Due to circumstances beyond your control, you are permanently insane. You may have a congenital brain disorder, or perhaps you saw something mortals were never intended to lay eyes upon, and it drove you mad. Choose a Derangement/Insanity for your character from the lists below. Though the list is by no means exhaustive, the following options are ones that have been presented in game terms and that have definable--and most times numerical--penalties.
         (-3) Motor Tension: Jitteriness, aches, twitches, restlessness, easily startled, easily fatigued, and so on. All attacks and all things involving strength, reflexes and dexterity take a penalty.

         (-3) Mania: The character has a fairly constant euphoric or possibly irritable mood. Symptoms include a general increase in activity, talkativeness, increased self-esteem to the point of delusion, decreased need for sleep, being easily distracted, willingness for dangerous or imprudent activities , delusions, hallucinations, and bizarre behavior.

       (-3) Phobia: A character afflicted by a phobia persistently fears a particular object or situation. She realizes that the fear is excessive and irrational, but the fear is disturbing enough that she avoids the stimulus.
              (Automatonophobia- Fear of ventriloquist's dummies, animatronic creatures, wax statues - anything that falsly represents a sentient being.)


  • Harbinger of Ill Omen (-1): You seem to be cursed to forever bump into a specific person, time and time again. Each time you do, something bad happens not long afterward. This person in no way does this purposefully, it just happens with alarming frequency.

  • Inattentive (-1): Your mind has a habit of drifting off at inopportune moments. It flits from one thought to the next so fast that you have trouble getting it to concentrate on the here and now. As such, you are particularly unaware of your surroundings.

  • Reckless (-1): You lack the emotion of fear. Unfortunately, it is often an important cue that keeps men from doing foolhardy things. Sure, you don't flinch at the sight of even the most hideous monster, but neither do you feel the need to run away when outclassed.

  • Talkative (-1): You have a problem keeping your plans to yourself. Your ideas are simply so clever that you tell them to other people, so that you can watch their astonishment creep across their faces just before they tell you just how smart you are. Your flaw gets you to reveal your plans or evil scheme to the wrong people. There's nothing to prevent you from dropping them into a deathtrap afterwards, but should they survive, then you've got problems.

  • Vulnerable (-3): You are not very good at defending yourself and moving out of harm's way. In combat you take hits easily, in roleplay terms this means that you can only dodge one out of three attacks, regardless of how easy it was.


IV. MAGIC

Magic: Power ring
Caster or Holder:  holder-type
Description: The Power Rings use nonelemental energy based magic, able to make augmenting energy fields primarily for the user. He has the capability to form body based weapons, buffs, as well as blats of energy, other modifications. other rings do exist that may augment the main five.
Strengths: Being a nonelemental type magic it is not strong or weak against any specific elemental magic. The power Rings possess  other rings that can alter the abilities of the main power rings.
Weaknesses: The Power Rings are not strong or weak against any particular type of magic. It is nonelemental and primarily effects the user of the Rings. The rings do not work unless they have the base set of 5 rings for head, wrists, and ankles. The magic can not be used if they are taken off.

V. HISTORY

History: Salem was raised in a complacently normal family environment. He was born and raised in the middle of nowhere in a small town. he was the middle child of three so he grew up feeling mostly ignored by his mother and father. While they were proud of their eldest son, his older brother, they babied their youngest son. He and his brothers would play a lot, and a lot of it ended up staring fights among themselves. Nothing bad ever really came from it, but they were very competitive. Every time one of the brothers would get an upper hand and get good at something the others would always come from behind and drag him back down. it was fun, it was all Salem knew.

His older brother Isaac was always the natural at everything, smart and strong he picked up magic at an early age like it was nothing. His parents praised Isaac every time he was able to make a new spell. He taught himself mostly. When his baby brother, Jacob picked up magic too he grew quickly. Salem felt like the odd man out now. He didn't have any magic himself but he did have the talent for it somewhere. He just did not know where it was, or how to activate it. Eventually he just sat there and watched as both his brothers passed him by. Salem did at that point what he always did when he felt lost and annoyed. He went to the forest. Salem had this talent that nether of his siblings had, it was the one thing that made him feel special. He would go into the forest and play with the animals, and they would talk to him. He never told his family about it because he thought that they would think he was crazy, but Salem knew he wasn't.

One day while Salem had gone on an escape into the forest on the outskirts of his home town he was playing with a group of wolf pups, one of them started to tug at him. The pup stole one of his shoes and ran off deeper into the forest. Salem started to run off after him calling out for the pup to bring back his shoe, but the pup just goaded him on to follow him he had found something. Salem was curious now and kept his chase. deep in the woods Salem was lead into a small cave dark and damp. He was lead to a skeleton he was taken back for a second before he got closer. It had several rings of gold on its body. The wolf said that he thought they were magic. Salem took the rings off of the dead man and put them on, and he could feel the magic flow through him. he found his own magic.

Salem made his way home and started to practice his own magic. his family did have questions but he didn't came. Later Salem went on to join a guild and with the goal to become the most powerful wizard to ever be.

Hey Salem. Only a few things things to correct.


  • Please state what is your character's mania, in your negative traits.
  • Please add the strengths to your character's magic.
  • State that, without the rings, you cannot cast spells, as this is a holder magic.
