General Appearance: Complimented on his looks by a lot of people, but uncaring about most, Ray doesn't strive much to keep his looks sharp. Having a mid-length mess of unkempt, a-shade-lighter-than-most-red hair doesn't help much, as it almost always ends up being styled by his pillow, who, admittedly, is a good stylist by pillow standards. His skin is quite tan, due to his exposure to the sun and defiance towards hats. His eyes are piercing, and are supposedly electrifying, much like the stormy thoughts inside his cerebellum. Ray's smile is apparently cute, and he uses it to his advantage, gaining favors from girls for various reasons. However, his true smile can only be incited when his close friends are around, . Well known for his uncaring glare, Ray's emotions aren't really known by anybody. He has a highly muscular, and quite lean body type, only developed due to his times spent in the room training, and the muscle building due to the amount of strength he amassed while combat training. Ray is almost always seen wearing a gold plated armor over white robes, which show his well built body off, and yet stand as a cover against the weather. His style, although not cared for, is quite relevant and "attractive", as per the hormonal tendencies of most women.
Extra: Ray has a singular scar running along his backbone.

III. PERSONALITY

Personality:  Being a cold and calculating person, Ray appears to be giving off a distinctly cold aura in the form of "anti-social" mannerisms and the possibility of having a strong form of magic,thus,usually making people feel uncomfortable around him. Ray also has a more sadistic side to him,known as "Evil Ray",which is activated in battle or in tight situations,which likes to kill and destroy everything in its path. The formation of these two distinct personalities has earned Ray the status of being schizophrenic,but the truth lies in the fact that "Evil Ray" is just the part that Ray keeps hidden from public,and is not a specifically different personality.

Some say he's cold, some say he's uncaring, some say he's cunning. A mix of all three, Ray's true personality is left unknown to everyone but his close friends, as he is very picky whilst choosing his friends.  However, there are a few sure shot things about him. Ray, while not exactly an introvert, does not believe in socializing unless it's for an intended plan. He is very perceptive, and is able to focus on things overlooked by normal people. He tends to be very cold to strangers, and almost as cold to people who do end up knowing him. He doesn't care much about anything except what's on his mind, and comes off as quite arrogant, even though that is rarely the case. He doesn't speak much, choosing to remain silent in order to observe and plan accordingly. He also never acts without a set plan, a habit set into him by his father. Although his exterior may be as tough as nails, he does have a soft interior, a fact known only to his closest friends. However, if infuriated, Ray reveals his more sadistic side, a complete incarnation of said 'evil', as he turns into a very sadistic individual who only concentrates on torturing his opponent. While known for these other things, Ray is best known for his intellect, something that stands out in his manner of conduct.

While Ray isn't much for being under leadership, he will gladly follow those with a plan that makes sense, and can be carried out efficiently. The leader, in this case, will have to be a complete genius, and extremely powerful to get Ray to follow him. Ray will also follow those who he can consider as his friends, out of mutual trust. As for himself being a leader, Ray believes in winning battles and leading people through strategies, something that has been brought forth by his reliance on his intelligence in order to win. However, while battling, he seems to be uncaring, but that is just a ruse to hide his actual thought processes from enemies, as he likes to surprise them with his plans. He also tends to become very sadistic in battles, and thus his fights have always been gory, to an extent. He can be classified as a psychopath while battling, and that can be evident in the freaky grin that's always on his face when he knows he's about to hurt someone.

Motivations: Ray's inherent motivation is to achieve the maximum amount of power that is humanely possible, be it through lawful/unlawful means. His entire definition, or idea, of power rotates around the fact that intelligence is greater than brawn, therefore he also has to prove this to the world, which becomes a greater motivation for him.

    Explanation: Character can perform flashy moves such as back flips, cartwheels and various other moves when dodging an attack.

    Explanation: Players of lesser rank cannot initiate combat against you, but are capable of defending themselves.

    Explanation: You have a passive C Rank speed buff at all times.
  • Stealthy (+3): You are particularly good at avoiding notice. You could be sitting somewhere in a thread at a bar and people wouldn't even notice that you were there.
    Explanation: You are able to blend into a crowd, and those entering threads cannot initiate conversation with you until you speak or state your presence in an obvious matter by doing something that draws the attention of others.

Negative Traits:

  • Aloof (-1): Your manner is cold and unapproachable, distancing you from friends and strangers alike. Your preternatural intelligence lends itself to viewing others as slow-witted and a waste of your precious time. Your charisma is lowered.
    Explanation: You can't act nice to people and you can't make friends easily.
  • Ambitious (-1): You crave power. Money is nice, but being in charge of other people is your favorite thing. You are likely to be brought down by attempting a risky grab for power and failing. Even when deals are risky you will give in and agree most of times.
    Explanation: You will attempt to overthrow friends or foes alike when the opportunity rises regardless if it seems like it's not possible.
  • Arrogant (-1): You firmly believe that you are better than anyone else is. Your ideas are the best, your clothes are the most stylish, and you have to let everyone else know how much better you are. Once in a while you openly show contempt or disdain for someone else.
    Explanation: You must at least act arrogant one out of five posts.
  • Bad Reputation (-1): You have a reputation that angers or frightens people. Examples include being unlucky, petty, or cruel. The rep may or may not be accurate, but in either case, word travels faster than you do.
    Explanation: You can't communicate easily with non player characters. Somehow they've heard of you and the things they've heard weren't too good.
  • Cautious (-1): You are uneasy engaging in behavior that carries a chance of failure. You must spend twice as long performing any skill that requires an action. For example, deciphering a page of text would take 2 minutes for you instead of 1.
    Explanation: You are very slow in your actions because you take more time to do things. This requires you to use 20% more words in any roleplay that has a word count requirement (such as travels or requests).
  • Cruel (-1): You have a sadistic streak that causes you to perform acts of cruelty for no good reason. Of course, this doesn't endear you to others. Most times you are prudent enough to carry out your cruelties on those under your thumb, rather than those you see as equals. However, you carry a constant social stigma, as rumors have their way of getting around.
    Explanation: You must perform an act of cruelty one out of five posts.
  • Daredevil (-2): You only really feel alive when you're staring death in the face. Your character is addicted to the thrill of death-defying stunts, pushing themselves to the limit at every available opportunity.
    Explanation: You can't refuse the opportunity of engaging into combat with anyone or anything that is stronger than you. You also always volunteer and perform tasks that have a risk attached to them when you are in a group.
  • Derangement/Insanity (-3): Due to circumstances beyond your control, you are permanently insane. You may have a congenital brain disorder, or perhaps you saw something mortals were never intended to lay eyes upon, and it drove you mad. Choose a Derangement/Insanity for your character from the lists below. Though the list is by no means exhaustive, the following options are ones that have been presented in game terms and that have definable--and most times numerical--penalties.
    Bipolar Mood Disorder: The character oscillates between the mood states mentioned above, sometimes staying in one mood for weeks at a time, sometimes rapidly switching from one to another. Also known as manic depressive.
    Explanation: Character must bounce between emotional highs and lows once every three posts. Happy to sad, anger to happiness, etc.
  • Extravagant (-2): You enjoy living in the lap of luxury. Ale is never good enough if you can get fine wine instead. You aren't happy with anything less than the finest room in the inn. In addition, any equipment or services you purchase cost 10% more than the standard rate for the locale you are currently in. The best of the best always costs more, after all.
    Explanation: You will always pay 10% more when purchasing something.

IV. MAGIC

Magic: Shadow God Slayer
Caster or Holder: Caster
Description: God Slayer Magic is a form of Ancient Spell in which the caster is able to attain the abilities of a "God", using a specific element as their type. The certain elemental type of God Slayer Magic can be conjured from the caster's body and be used for various purposes, mainly in combat. It is said that the original usage of this Magic was to slay "Gods". In addition, the color of each God Slayer's element has a black tint, regardless of what it may be.

Shadow God Slayer Magic allows the user to transform their physiology into that of a Shadow God, allowing them to produce shadows from any part of their body, as well as turning their body into intangible shadows, which cannot be touched by normal means. With this Magic, the user is also able to fade themselves into shadows to move swiftly, dodging efficiently and making surprise attacks.

The shadows produced by Shadow God Slayer magic are able to be utilized in several different ways, allowing for a high level of adaptability; allowing them to be freeform, condensed, or even to attain shapes such as weapons, taking on their properties.

Due to the physiology becoming that of a Shadow God, the shadows produced via this magic are darker than umbra shadows, almost resembling darkness itself.

Similar to Dragon Slayer Magic and Devil Slayer Magic, the caster is able to eat their own element and also use it for combative purposes. However, it appears that they cannot eat their own "God-like" element and instead one of a lower level.
Strengths: The major strengths of said magic are it's ability to change the caster's physiology into a Shadow God, giving the caster complete control over any shadows that are produced via this magic, as well as allowing the caster to utilize the shadows for quick transportation, almost as if the user were a shadow itself. The shadows produced can be used for various purposes, and given various shapes, and can also take on basic properties of the shapes attained, being limited only by the creativity of the mage. They can also be used for conventional magical warfare such as, but not limited to, beams, etc.
Weaknesses: The user is put at a great disadvantage around places which have certainly placed light sources which omit shadows, and therefore also possesses an innate weakness towards powerful Light magic, such as Light God Slayer magic. The user also cannot consume the shadows he himself produces, and therefore as to rely on "inferior" sources of shadows. The user also has a very slight disadvantage against elements which can produce light as well, such as Fire, however, this weakness isn't as powerful when compared to the weakness against powerful, purging light.

V. HISTORY

History: "Living life large isn't as easy as it seems.."
Being born in a family of what could only be termed as "over achievers", Ray Ignazia's life wasn't exactly the easiest around. His parents couldn't care less about Ray's emotions, however, the one thing they did care about, was Ray's development from a normal human, to an efficient genius that was the family's signature style. It mattered not to them how Ray became what he had to, it was just the end that mattered most. Ray was pushed to study all forms of knowledge areas pertinent to magic, whether or not he showed any interest in it, and if he failed to gain the extensive knowledge, he would be punished in increasingly harmful ways. This, however, led to the desensitization of violence within Ray's psyche, making him believe that such violence was normal- and necessary. Ray's family were quite rich, and influential, within the city of Fiore, and therefore, their success oriented treatment towards their son was kept on the down low, with no one apart from the household members knowing how Ray was treated when he wasn't at one of the lavish parties that the nobles were well known to have. Since Ray was desensitized to all this, however, he himself kept shut, oblivious to the ongoings of the world around him, his mind saturated with the magic pertinent knowledge. Ray was hailed as a natural genius due to his quick ability to absorb knowledge and read it, which was the only thing that kept his family from disowning him.

Alongside the theoretical studies that Ray was taking an active part in, Ray was also being trained to use high amounts of magic, along with combat training in various stimuli and environments, with an emphasis placed on Ray's ability to effectively strategize and problem solve. His parents had also taught Ray to have limited social interaction, and wanting to be a loved child by his parents, he had followed every single word of theirs, rage and resentment growing in his heart as he did so. In a highly symbolic turn of events, Ray took a natural affinity towards Shadow based magic, coercing his parents to teach him a forbidden Shadow magic in order for him to control vast amounts of power as they had foreseen to be. However, what his parents, in their tainted genius, had overlooked was the fact that such a magic brought out the worst, tainting the pure soul of their only son. And in this tainting, the rage and resentment grew, effectively increasing with each day that passed. Ray's social strata was spiraling downward, however, his ambition and greed kept on increasing. His very presence, even as a teen, was enough to instill a weird form of fear in those who were the subject of his intense stare, never knowing what it was about this teen that had them scared.

"But it's always better to choose the harder path..."

Ray's intolerant attitude towards his parents was now beginning to unsettle his parents, who then decided to put forth heavier punishment on Ray in order to get him to behave, not realizing that Ray was very close on the edge of insanity, a byproduct of the lack of humanity that these people had shown. In the midst of one of these punishment sessions, Ray's psyche snapped, almost instantaneously, giving birth to a darker side that was suppressed for far too long under the fake veil of apparent humanity. What they had sown, had come back to reap their bodies for the take, as well as the wealth they had amassed. It was over quite fast. Before Ray had realized, a vortex of shadow had emerged from his mouth, turning his once loved parents into just another shadow to be used in order to gain  more power. Their deaths mattered little to him, due to the desensitization and the schema he had achieved, Ray now just looked at everything as a means to gain power, to gain higher social strata. Ray was still lacking in basic social skills, so therefore, he couldn't be the heir to the Ignazia business, and he knew that. Choosing the smarter option, Ray chose to forsake his ties with his now ex-family, and just taking a fraction of the massive wealth with him as he began his search for a higher amount of power, knowing full well the risks that it entailed.

Due to his lack of social upbringing, and constant living in the shadows, Ray had become extremely skilled in remaining unnoticed, a skill further exemplified by the magic he carried. The rage and resentment, which he had expected to go, was now replaced by a pure bloodlust, only satiable through pain or death. Ray's rise to power was unprecedented, but it was a steep curve, as Ray's theoretical knowledge gave rise to better forms of practical uses of his magic. There was no remorse..only a way to achieve success.

Does this mean something to the effect of an elemental body? If so, please remove it as elemental body is not a capability of Slayer magics according to this site. Please clarify.

Lastly, there is a piece of broken list code at the bottom of your app. Not necessarily a required edit per se, simply me being anal about broken code. Either way, fix those two things listed above and I will approve.

Edited as per the requirements.

The magic was supposed to give rudimentary shadow cloaking, such as Rogue's own shadow form, in order for dodging and simultaneous movement.
