Height: 5' 7"

General Appearance: Minerva is shown as a relatively tall girl with light pink hair and clear skin. Her long hair reaches to the back of her thighs and she had two lose braids framing her face. She doesn't have ample bust, but she does have well-endowed figure. Avril is usually seen in her favorite outfit, a black tank top worn beneath a off-the-shoulder, midriff top, a pink skirt and white boots. However, outside of her usual apparel, she is typically seen wearing expensive, stylish clothes. That is not to say her everyday wear (which is actually her favorite outfit) is not expensive. However, she prefers to wear different things on other occasions. Usually the stylish clothes are name brands that not many people can afford, even in the big city of Era. The clothes picked are sometimes not always expensive but at least it must be chic and stylish.
Extra: None

III. PERSONALITY

Personality: Minerva is an action-packed, go getter, fun, outgoing type of girl. She's never afraid live life to the absolute fullest, take chances, and try something new. Minerva rarely gets mad, and when she is, danger is always lurking. Minerva's smile can light up the whole room, but her scowl can drag down everyone's attitude. She's a bit socially awkward, meaning she's weird. But proud of that. Normal is way too mainstream! She's a bit of a cracker, saying stuff no one gets... And probably never will. She'll shove and push just to get a hold of her dreams. Always cheery, She is a joy to be around. She's really loud and preppy, but sometimes get a little too worked up. She's sensitive and compassionate towards ones she loves, and it isn't easy to for her stop doing things for that person. Minerva stands her ground, whatever the cause. She'll be bouncing off the walls. Even without the help of caffeine, Minerva is super hyper, and that's what gives her that friendly spunk. Minerva is even a little geeky, and quirky. But people don't usually mind it. Minerva tends to care what people think, but tries not to, because she believes that being a humble person is the best you can do. Minerva has a tolerance for people that aren't as smart as her, or just get on her nerves. However, behind that cheery girl lies a darker, more cunning side of Minerva. She's observant of her surroundings whilst under the guise of being cheerful and jubilant. She prefers information gathering, or rather, people-watching before making her next move. Minerva is also a vicious and malicious wizard in battle sparing no one despite her virtues, usually she starts to kill mercilessly if she needed to reciprocate accordingly. Sometimes, even when her enemy is already begging for mercy, she'd kill them for the sake of her lust for blood and gore.

Dislikes:

  • Unintelligent people

  • Disrespect

  • Bad music

Motivations:

  • Becoming the strongest: Minerva has the motivation to be the strongest in her guild and probably even the strongest wizard of Fiore. She will not let anyone surpass her and she will continue to grow stronger.

  • Finding a family: Since, her loving father's death, her family started to fall apart. Her estranged relationship with her mother was the reason why she doesn't want a repeat. Number one motivation for Minerva is to find a real family she just didn't feel correct at home so she left her home in order to find a guild to be her family that is her number one motivation and her number one goal.

Fears:

  • Losing

  • Humiliation

  • Death

  • Small, enclosed spaces

  • Disbandment from Sabertooth

Positive Traits:

  • Deceitful (+2): You have a knack for disguising the truth. Your lies are difficult to distinguish from the truth.

  • High Society (+2):You know good manners and were trained to handle social interactions in noble circles. This is useful in requests involving members of the highest levels of society, such as monarchs, nobles, courtiers, lords and ladies, and high-ranking clerics.

  • Stealthy (+3): You are particularly good at avoiding notice. You could be sitting somewhere in a thread at a bar and people wouldn't even notice that you were there.

  • Animal Affinity (+2): You are good with animals.

  • Alertness (+2): You have finely tuned senses.

  • Diligent (+2): Your meticulousness allows you to analyse minute details that others miss.

Negative Traits:

  • Vulnerable (-3): You are not very good at defending yourself and moving out of harm's way. In combat you take hits easily, in roleplay terms this means that you can only dodge one out of three attacks, regardless of how easy it was.

  • Proud (-1): You don't like accepting help from others. If a gift or offer of aid smacks of charity or pity even the slightest bit, you grow indignant and refuse it.

  • Merciful (-1): For a villain, you have a terrible weakness--you don't like to hurt people. Given the choice, you'd rather exile your deposed brother to another country than do him in. Whether this is because you want him to live knowing that you beat him, or whether you just have a small soft spot down in your heart somewhere, the result is the same: your enemies keep coming back again and again.

  • Judgmental (-1): You form opinions quickly and change them very slowly. You also have a tendency to judge people on their appearance. A man dressed as a pirate, no matter how gentlemanly, is a scoundrel and a dog as far as you is concerned. A man covered in mud is a peasant, and a woman wearing revealing clothing is a prostitute.
Explanation: You must act very disgusted and displeased when your dislike comes into play.

  • Intolerance (-1): You have an irrational dislike of a certain thing. It may be an animal, a class of person, a situation, or just about anything at all. Note that some dislikes may be too trivial or ridiculous to count--a dislike of Bavarian-crème-filled donuts or mechanical pencils, for example, has no real dramatic value and will not be allowed.
Explanation: You must act very disgusted and displeased when your dislike comes into play.

  • Greedy (-1): Money makes your eyes light up with joy. The more, the merrier, as long as it spends. Once in a while, whenever you're divvying up shares of the loot, being offered a hefty bribe, or catching wind of some fabulous treasure, the flaw can to convince you to grab for as much money as possible.
Explanation: You may act differently when money comes into play.

  • Envious (-1): Everyone else seems to have it better than you do. They have more money, better toys, and a prettier wife. You tend to get envious over the smallest things. You're often disliked due to the constant mutterings and complaints you utter, along with the dirty stares you offer those you deem as better off than yourself.
Explanation: You must act envious at least one out of five posts.

  • Dark Secret (-1): You have some sort of secret that, if revealed, would make you an outcast amongst your society and companions. While this secret is on your mind at all times, it will come up in topics only once in a while, but when it does, watch out!
Explanation: You must think about your dark secret at least one out of ten posts. When things that are relevant to the dark secret are brought up you can't stop thinking about it.

  • ◦Reckless (-1): You lack the emotion of fear. Unfortunately, it is often an important cue that keeps men from doing foolhardy things. Sure, you don't flinch at the sight of even the most hideous monster, but neither do you feel the need to run away when outclassed.

  • ◦Ambitious (-1): You crave power. Money is nice, but being in charge of other people is your favorite thing. You are likely to be brought down by attempting a risky grab for power and failing. Even when deals are risky you will give in and agree most of times.

  • Indecisive (-1):You have been known to hesitate when faced with difficult choices or split-second decisions. If forced to choose between letting a villain escape and rescuing a loved one from being lowered into a snake pit, you're likely to agonize over the situation until something--perhaps a cry for help from your sweetheart--forces your hand.

IV. MAGIC

Magic: Arcana Seal: Legacy
Caster or Holder: Caster
Description: With the use of arcane, command seals that open the spirit gates, Minerva can summon heroes or significant icons who left great legacies along the lines of history. The seal is distinct and differ according to each hero. They represent the bond and contract between master and servant. Each spirit has his/her own mannerism and ideas of how they should act as well as their summoner. Those with villainous plots can sometimes find themselves in the middle of an argument with a spirit if they don’t get along well. However, in dire situations, the caster is allowed to cast absolute orders in which their servants would obey without fail. The absolute command spells are limited to five throughout their whole contract. Should they use up all absolute command spells, they no longer have the authority to control their spirit's actions despite their existing contract.
Strengths: Calling upon these hero spirits can give you much need aid in difficult times. As these spirits are separate entities, they have their own strengths and specialties. They do not die when damaged badly. Each spirit is distinct in their individual way, so they have different traits and elements that the user is essentially capable of manipulating through there strong bond. Hero spirits also add a second pair of eyes to a fight allowing the summoner to add this ally to the battle field. The bond which the summoner forms with their summon helps create a intimate understanding between them, which in turn can fuel themselves to battle more ferociously for their master.
Weaknesses: Personalities and the traits of the summon themselves are some of the largest issues the caster can experience. If they don’t like you to much they could roll you up in the same attack as your foe. These beings are contracted to protect he/she that they agree to work with thus they must try and protect their user no matter at what cost even if that means themselves harm. The user is also obligated to respect his/her summons otherwise she/he may have some turmoil within the ranks. Contracts are long and strenuous, hashed out between the summoner and summon they came to an equally agreeable consensus allowing for use of their power.

V. HISTORY

History: Minerva Lair was a orphan since infant. Her birth parents abandoned her for some unknown reason (most likely poverty), leaving her to rot in the streets of Magnolia. She was then found by a relatively young man in his mid-thirties, who then took her in and raised her as his own daughter. Despite the incomplete family, her father loved Minerva very much and provided for them with the profits he obtained from the sale of lumber. The Lair family was the owner of a large portion of forest land, and Minerva's father, Bernard Lair, had made a modest fortune by selling off the majority of it as lumber. Elena was pampered for the better part of her childhood, being given everything she wanted when she wanted it, and never being told no. One day however, her father collapsed at the breakfast table and was found to be violently ill. He was taken to the hospital, and Minerva and her mother visited him on a regular basis. Her father's illness progressively worsened over time, and it certainly showed in his appearance. After a few months the once vibrant man had become gaunt and skeletal. Elena was only six at the time, and watching her father wither away in a hospital bed had an extreme effect on her psyche growing up.

After two years of constant treatment, Bernard Lair died of stomach cancer. Elena was utterly devastated by her father's death, but after a serious bout of depression and nonstop sobbing for a period of two weeks, she seemed to have used up all of her emotions. She grew dismissive towards her mother and the maidservants, she stopped eating at regular meal times, and even stopped bathing. Whenever her mother would begin to reprimand her, Minerva would immediately go to do whatever it was her mother was instructing her to without question, mostly to get the woman off of her back. This continued on for thirteen years, Minerva's mother eventually stopped trying however and retired to a quiet life of alcohol abuse. She continued to be strictly supervised until her eighteenth birthday however, and her life was still heavily controlled by the maids during this period. After she had turned sixteenth, Minerva made the rebellious decision to runaway from home. She had been taught enough magic to defend herself by one of the many tutors her mother hired, and she had grown sick of her home. Minerva decided that she would no longer be controlled by the whims of her mother or anybody else. She set off on a journey with no real destination, and began her new life on the road.
