Aado Riddle

   __________________________________________________
"I have no time for whelps like you."

Name(s): Aado Iado Riddle
Nickname(s): Icon
Age: 23
Sex: Male
Birthday: April 20th X757
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Class: Mystic
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Rank: D
Guild: Sabertooth
Guild Tattoo: Right Pectoral
Face Claim: Sharrkan Magi

II. APPEARANCE

Height: 6'2
Weight: 130
Hair: White - Elegantly loose
Eyes: Green
General Appearance: Aado is the kind of man who has impeccable style. His physical build is impregnable, his tact and poise is unimaginable, and to saw he was attractive would be a complete understatement of the physical appeal that this particular man holds. He is in all ways physically an Adonis. Ripped yet lean, even his sizable manhood is astonishing to behold. He is perhaps the closest that a human can get to physical perfection without the use of magic. He is at the top of his game physically, and his clothing style is either extremely casual or it is very formal.
Extra: Infinite sexual stamina.

III. PERSONALITY

Personality: When he is with his best friend Saige he seems to joke around a lot and have himself a good time. He is very carefree and borderline cruel with the jokes and the actions he happens to take. His friendship with Saige is the second most important aspect of his life, as he feels that the young man really gets who he is and doesn't judge him for his violent behavior. Despite this, he feels as though they are the strongest up and coming team in Sabertooth, and he is excited to continue to adventure with his one true comrade.

When it comes to his girlfriend things seem to be the same. The main difference is that he is very affectionate and compassionate towards his girlfriend, treating her as though she was a fragile entity despite the strength that she obviously has. He is not very fond of her demonic spirits, but he looks past that as he knows that they are tools she exploits. He knows about both sides of her personality and is one of the few people to know and defend how affectionate and wonderful she is. He is not afraid to exert his place as her man either. He seems to invade her personal space, but he is suave and very approachable.

When it comes to everyone else he seems to be a very casual guy who is known to be quite the charming individual. He is friendly to his guild-mates and to the citizens around him, but is known to be ruthless towards whatever his target may be for his missions. People call him the Icon of Sabertooth because of how likable of a guy he can be. Despite all this, he is a bit chaotic, and has caused a lot of damage around town.
Likes:

  • Artemisia
  • Exercise
  • Violence
  • Saige

Dislikes:

  • Weakness
  • Imbeciles
  • Lack of Creativity
  • Betrayers

Motivations:

  • Artemisia's Happiness -He dedicates much of his time and energy into his woman, who he treats like royalty. He knows that she is his girl and everyone else knows it as well, despite his violent and sadistic nature he knows how his woman is on the inside and her positive nature keeps his rage in check. As a power couple he knows not to make her ashamed.
  • His Future - He is very protective of his girlfriend, and as a result dedicates a large portion of his willpower into making sure no one disrespects her. Despite the fact that she has always been stronger than him, he has continually made it his business to show that good things come to his relationship.

Fears:

  • Being Alone- He was alone most of his life, he sees that there is no reason to actively put himself in a situation where he would end up alone again.
  • Failing Artemisia's Expectations - He prides himself on Temi's opinion, and knows that deep down in his heart and in his mind that her opinion of him matters the most. If she were to no longer favor him he would be devastated, and lost in a sea of self pity.

Positive Traits: [30]

  • Acrobatic (+3): You have excellent body awareness and coordination.
  • Agile (+3): You are particularly flexible and poised.
  • Alertness (+2): You have finely tuned senses.
  • Athletic (+3): You have a knack for athletic endeavors.
  • Daunting Presence (+2): You are skilled at inducing fear in your opponents.
    [13]

  • Diehard (+2): You can remain conscious after attacks that would fell others.
  • Diligent (+2): Your meticulousness allows you to analyze minute details that others miss.
  • Enhanced Strength (+3): Your character is slightly stronger than other characters when it comes to physical strength.
  • Fortitude (+3): You are tougher than normal. You can take more hits than the regular Joe.
    [10]

  • Regeneration (+4): You heal very fast inside and outside of combat. Small cuts that go up to one inch deep are healed in the next post.
  • Swift (+3): You are fleet of foot. When running, you move three times your normal speed.
    [7]

Negative Traits: [30]

  • Allergies (-1) : You are afflicted with allergies. These may be something as simple as hay fever, but the reactions to such will result in something like a huge bout of sneezing and gasping. You must mention this allergy in your character application. [Chocolate]
  • Bravado (-2): You are rash in combat, refusing to show weakness by falling back from your enemies' blows. You either face it and stop it, or get hit in the progress. In addition, you cannot fight defensively.
  • Compulsive Honesty (-2): You cannot tell a lie, nor can you behave in a deceitful fashion. You tend to be blunt rather than tactful, even if it means insulting someone who you and your companions are trying to impress.
  • Curiosity (-1): You're a naturally curious person and you find mysteries of any sort irresistible. In most circumstances, alas, your curiosity overrides your common sense.
This forces you to investigate something unusual, even if it looks like it might be dangerous.
  • Daredevil (-2): You only really feel alive when you're staring death in the face. Your character is addicted to the thrill of death-defying stunts, pushing himsefl to the limit at every available opportunity.
    [8]

  • Dark Secret (-1): You have some sort of secret that, if revealed, would make you an outcast amongst your society and companions. While this secret is on your mind at all times, it will come up in topics only once in a while, but when it does, watch out! [Killed a Noble]
  • Derangement/Insanity (-9): Due to circumstances beyond your control, you are permanently insane. You may have a congenital brain disorder, or perhaps you saw something mortals were never intended to lay eyes upon, and it drove you mad.
Choose a Derangement/Insanity for your character from the lists below. Though the list is by no means exhaustive, the following options are ones that have been presented in game terms and that have definable--and most times numerical--penalties.

Motor Tension: Jitteriness, aches, twitches, restlessness, easily startled, easily fatigued, and so on. All attack rolls, Fortitude and Relfex saves, and all checks involving Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution take a -2 penalty.
Phobia: A character afflicted by a phobia persistently fears a particular object or situation. She realizes that the fear is excessive and irrational, but the fear is disturbing enough that she avoids the stimulus.
Mania: The character has a fairly constant euphoric or possibly irritable mood. Symptoms include a general increase in activity, talkativeness, increased self-esteem to the point of delusion, decreased need for sleep, being easily distracted, willingness for dangerous or imprudent activities , delusions, hallucinations, and bizarre behavior.
    [10]

  • Envious (-1): Everyone else seems to have it better than you do. They have more money, better toys, and a prettier wife. You tend to get envious over the smallest things. You're often dislikes due to the constant mutterings and complaints you utter, along with the dirty stares you offer those you deem as better off than yourself. [Never envious relationship wise.]
  • Extravagant (-1): You enjoy living in the lap of luxury. Ale is never good enough if you can get fine wine instead. You aren't happy with anything less than the finest room in the inn. In addition, any equipment or services you purchase cost 10% more than the standard rate for the locale you are currently in. The best of the best always costs more, after all.
  • Fanaticism (-1): This can be a substantial disadvantage for a character, though it requires significant roleplaying commitment on the part of the player. The fanaticism can be dedication to a particular cult, religion, or god, or it can be more worldly-based, in the sense of overwhelming loyalty to a state, a military presence, or to a particular leader. Whatever their sources, the different types of fanaticism have several things in common. If a certain code of behavior is called for by the belief, then the character must conform to that behavior--even if it conflicts with the immediate goals of the PC and his companions. While fanaticism is not necessarily evil, it may certainly become tiresome to those who do not share the fanatics beliefs. [Fiore]
  • Greedy (-1): Money makes your eyes light up with joy. The more, the merrier, as long as it spends. Once in a while, whenever you're divvying up shares of the loot, being offered a hefty bribe, or catching wind of some fabulous treasure, the flaw can to convince you to grab for as much money as possible.
  • Hedonistic (-1): You love a good time. You party too much, drink too much, and eat too much. You have trouble resisting an invitation to join someone in a drink and sometimes shirk your duty if offered a more enjoyable time elsewhere. Whenever a good time is presented you let your guard. You're also not capable to resist seduction of any sort. It's just not in your nature to resist such opportunities.
  • Intolerance (-1): You have an irrational dislike of a certain thing. It may be an animal, a class of person, a situation, or just about anything at all. Note that some dislikes may be too trivial or ridiculous to count--a dislike of Bavarian-crème-filled donuts or mechanical pencils, for example, has no real dramatic value and will not be allowed. [Ugly People]
  • Judgmental (-1): You form opinions quickly and change them very slowly. You also have a tendency to judge people on their appearance. A man dressed as a pirate, no matter how gentlemanly, is a scoundrel and a dog as far as you is concerned. A man covered in mud is a peasant, and a woman wearing revealing clothing is a prostitute. [Ugly People]
  • Overconfident (-1): Nothing is beyond your capabilities. If you wanted, you could defeat the best swordsman in the world; you just haven't had any reason to do so yet. And surely that chasm isn't too wide for you to leap across.
  • Overzealous (-1): You are incapable of having a weak opinion. Everything you believe, you believe as if your life depended on it. Everything you don't believe in, you hate with a passion.
Once in a while your flaw gets you to strongly defend one of your opinions, no matter how inappropriate the time and place, nor what the circumstances of such an outburst may be.
  • Proud (-1): You don't like accepting help from others. If a gift or offer of aid smacks of charity or pity even the slightest bit, you grow indignant and refuse it.
    [10]

  • Reckless (-1): You lack the emotion of fear. Unfortunately, it is often an important cue that keeps men from doing foolhardy things. Sure, you don't flinch at the sight of even the most hideous monster, but neither do you feel the need to run away when outclassed.
  • Righteous (-1): The end justifies the means. You are willing to perform morally repugnant actions in order to achieve noble goals. Unfortunately, this can alienate those people who might support your cause if you didn't use such heavy-handed methods.

IV. MAGIC

Magic: Fuujin Magic
Caster or Holder: Caster
Description:This variation of Air Magic enables its users to generate wind, as well as to manipulate the wind around them at their will. Wind Magic grants them high offensive power, allowing them to assault enemies in different ways: the most prominent aspect of such Magic lies in the ability to give the wind cutting properties, manifesting it in the form of fast-moving air blades which are employed at mid-to-long range; they can also generate powerful gusts of wind to inflict blunt damage upon enemies and send them flying away, and even form hurricanes of various scales, which, in addition to their rotational power, seem to retain his wind's signature sharpness.
Strengths: Users are capable producing minor, yet accurate, blasts with the use of various hand movements. Users can also employ the wind on themselves, using it to levitate at A-rank and traverse over long distances, as well as to cover themselves in an armor of wind, boosting both their offense and defense at B-rank.
Weaknesses: Fire magic seems to be the trump card to us against a mage that employs this specific brand of magic. All of his spells are considered to be one rank weaker in terms of offense against anyone who uses fire magic, including his defensive spells. This is a contrast compared to his advantage over lightning and water magic users. The user of this magic can not fly until A-rank.

V. HISTORY

History: Aado was a rebellious tyke who grew up in the most violent scum ridden slums of Bosco. His father was a cobbler and spent a large amount of his own personal time mending and taking care of shoes. His father was one of the few famed members of the slums and had an actual legitimate income to his name. This was the main reason he was considered a target for the local cut-purse factions that littered their crime ridden town. As a result of this harassment, the young boy took up the art of fighting, having his body honed brutally.

Always fighting and constantly getting into trouble, the young male was shocked when one day his father went to work for a very powerful noble in the land of Bosco, Count Mardu. Mardu was known for his aptitude for punishment, and made a deal with the cobbler that he would raise the young lad Aado as his own if the cobbler were to pass away of old age, and the father reluctantly agreed. Only three months later the rather youthful cobbler passed away from "natural causes" and his wife was wed to the Count hastily. Aado smelled something quite wrong.

It was not a farce of course, Aado immediately went to work for his new father, being used as a pit dog while the Count plowed his mother like a common whore for years. In the pits did the boy live, and in the pits did the boy continue to hone his craft. Day in and day out the young male fought many, finding solace in the animals around him. He had found that animals seemed to appreciate him, and understand him, and after a night where he took someones life, he used the rats to escape the manor immediately.

Fortunately, during his escape he was caught by his father and some of his elite body guards. A fight ensued, and the young Aado slew his step-father and all the lackeys using his new-found magical abilities. taught to him by the mice and rats that had been watching mages of the nearby guild. Fleeing the country, he went to Fiore. While there he met a young lass who had been tasked to investigate the aftermath of this battle had seemed to get injured when she was not ready for the magical barrier that was installed to drain life-force from mages equal to their max power. He cared for her for a bit and when she awoke she seemed to be the first human who could tolerate his presence, they hit it off ever since. She invited him to join her guild after a year, and he did so, now two months in he has already made his second friend, a mage known as Saige.

Hello, Aado.

Your magic is too OP, you are going to have to nerv it down. Also you are not able to cast spells with your eyes.

That's fine, however how do I nerf this? I just basically copy and pasted what the wikia said. I added hand signs and the ranks needed for certain feats of the magic. Took out the eye casting. Not really sure what else to take out as all of this stuff is just what the magic can do and not all the stuff I can do at D-rank.
