"Training hard, risking your life....what's the difference?"

Name(s): Solomon Lannister
Nickname(s):
Age: 23
Sex: Male
Birthday: 6/10/X757
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Class: Mystic
Alignment: Lawful Neutral
Rank: S-Class
Guild: Sabertooth
Guild Tattoo: Right Pectoral
Face Claim: Kisuke Urahara- Bleach

II. APPEARANCE

Height: 183 cm (6'0")
Weight: 74 kg (165 pounds)
Hair: Light Blond (almost pale)
Eyes: Gray
General Appearance: Solomon is a tall (over average height) young man. With a lean build (though more on the lean muscular side of things.) He has light skin, not pale skin, but light skin. Enough sun exposure to give him color, just not enough to make him appear un caucasian. He has gray eyes, his pupils very similar to that of a wolfs. Not to mention the shade of gray in his eyes is indeed wolf gray. His hair is a messy style and light-blond, almost light enough to look like a pale yellow, but with just enough brightness to call it light blond. He has strands of his hair the frame his face and sometimes hanging between his eyes. On his chin you can find light stubble, he often has five o clock shadow, or just a light beard when he decides to grow it out. For his clothing it can be diverse depending on the day. For his casual attire he can be seen wearing sweatshirts and shorts when just lounging around the guild. For official business on the other hand. He will wear a black Kimono with clogs, he wears a long white overcoat over his shoulders with the sabertooth guild mark on the back of it.
Extra: He can be seen wearing a bucket hat with his casual attire.

III. PERSONALITY

Personality: Laid back: Solomon has a very laid back personality he often finds himself not taking small things, or some big things very seriously. Even during combat he will make small talk with his opponent. Saying things such as. "This is fun!", "Are we having fun yet?", "What's your favorite part of combat?", "It's a really beautiful day today!" "I'm new in town, would you know a place where I can get a good meal?" He always speaks in a polite tone, hardly ever swearing. He will use his small talk, and slight show of concern for his opponent as a way to outwardly distract them.

Humble: By Sabertooth standards Solomon is probably the most humble of the guild. He is not one to pat himself on the back. He has gotten the approval and recognition of others to ground him in the belief that he has exceptional ability and skill. In his mind pride will always come before a fall, and the worst thing a warrior can do is get over confident and make mistakes. This is one of the many things he attempts to teach the younger members of his guild.

Stern and Serious: Despite his laid back nature he is a Guild Master. Not everything can be fun, sometimes you have to make hard decisions. When it comes down to it, he has proven time and time again that he is capable of making those decisions. When approached with an issue he often thinks of what is best for the many, over the needs of the few. This has caused him to severely punish, and even excommunicate members who have proven they cannot follow the rules. When excommunicating he must make an example out of them, he still loves his members but they must learn. As must the young ones of the guild. He will often strip them down and make them walk out of the guild with their peers looking on. When it comes to a young cub who lacks respect, he must show them with force their wrongs. If you spare the rod you spoil the child. He believes they will remember the experience and it will make them better where ever they end up after leaving Sabertooth.

Eccentric: Solomon can be a bit eccentric, when he finds something he is passionate about he will stop at nothing to know everything about it. Or become the best at what ever it is he is passionate about.

Perverted and a Flirt: Solomon is a good man, but by no means is he a saint when it comes to the opposite sex. He will often venture to the local bar and flirt with the ladies, often taking them home with him to do only god knows what. If he sees an attractive female guild member he will be the first one to introduce himself, and show her around. Not to mention offer her a trip to his private chambers to get to know each other better. But despite all that he does have morals. If he is refused he will stop, he will not force the issue.

  • Women
  • Sparring
  • Traveling
  • Alcohol
  • Sabertooth
  • Afternoon naps
  • Midnight snacks
  • Seeing his guild members prosper and grow

Dislikes:

  • Loud noises
  • Spiders
  • Disloyalty
  • Those who refuse to get stronger

Motivations: Solomon is motivated by the fact that he knows that there will always be someone stronger than him. He uses that as fuel to keep himself going. He is also motivated by keeping his guild strong, keeping them together, and more importantly keeping them prepared for when and if they have to defend themselves. He is motivated by his burning desire to be the best guild master in fiore, and to make his guild the strongest.
Fears:

  • Being Defeated: One of Solomon's greatest fears is to be defeated in battle by an opponent he should beat.
  • Sabertooth falling: Solomon's next greatest fear is to have Sabertooth fail. He never wants there to be a day that he wakes up and it not be in the sabertooth guild hall because he failed to protect his guild. Or to have it disbanded because of internal differences that could not be settled.

Positive Traits:

  • Athletic (+3): You have a knack for athletic endeavors.
  • Daunting Presence (+2): You are skilled at inducing fear in your opponents.
  • Diehard (+2): You can remain conscious after attacks that would fell others.
  • Diligent (+2): Your meticulousness allows you to analyze minute details that others miss.
  • Enhanced Strength (+3): Your character is slightly stronger than other characters when it comes to physical strength.
  • Fortitude (+3): You are tougher than normal. You can take more hits than the regular Joe.

Negative Traits:

  • Allergies (-1): You are afflicted with allergies. These may be something as simple as hay fever, but the reactions to such will result in something like a huge bout of sneezing and gasping. You must mention this allergy in your character application. [He is allergic to pollen, it causes him to go into sneezing fits.]
  • Compulsive Honesty (-2): You cannot tell a lie, nor can you behave in a deceitful fashion. You tend to be blunt rather than tactful, even if it means insulting someone who you and your companions are trying to impress.
  • Curiosity (-1): You're a naturally curious person and you find mysteries of any sort irresistible. In most circumstances, alas, your curiosity overrides your common sense.
This forces you to investigate something unusual, even if it looks like it might be dangerous.
  • Derangement/Insanity (-3): Due to circumstances beyond your control, you are permanently insane. You may have a congenital brain disorder, or perhaps you saw something mortals were never intended to lay eyes upon, and it drove you mad.
Choose a Derangement/Insanity for your character from the lists below. Though the list is by no means exhaustive, the following options are ones that have been presented in game terms and that have definable--and most times numerical--penalties. [Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder: This illness manifests in one of two main forms, obsessive thoughts or compulsive actions; some characters exhibit both.]
  • Extravagant (-1): You enjoy living in the lap of luxury. Ale is never good enough if you can get fine wine instead. You aren't happy with anything less than the finest room in the inn. In addition, any equipment or services you purchase cost 10% more than the standard rate for the locale you are currently in. The best of the best always costs more, after all.
  • Intolerance (-1): You have an irrational dislike of a certain thing. It may be an animal, a class of person, a situation, or just about anything at all. Note that some dislikes may be too trivial or ridiculous to count--a dislike of Bavarian-crème-filled donuts or mechanical pencils, for example, has no real dramatic value and will not be allowed. [Has an intolerance to those who refuse to work themselves to their limit to become stronger]
  • Judgmental (-1): You form opinions quickly and change them very slowly. You also have a tendency to judge people on their appearance. A man dressed as a pirate, no matter how gentlemanly, is a scoundrel and a dog as far as you is concerned. A man covered in mud is a peasant, and a woman wearing revealing clothing is a prostitute.
  • Merciful (-1): For a villain, you have a terrible weakness--you don't like to hurt people. Given the choice, you'd rather exile your deposed brother to another country than do him in. Whether this is because you want him to live knowing that you beat him, or whether you just have a small soft spot down in your heart somewhere, the result is the same: your enemies keep coming back again and again.
  • Proud (-1): You don't like accepting help from others. If a gift or offer of aid smacks of charity or pity even the slightest bit, you grow indignant and refuse it.
  • Talkative (-1): You have a problem keeping your plans to yourself. Your ideas are simply so clever that you tell them to other people, so that you can watch their astonishment creep across their faces just before they tell you just how smart you are. Your flaw gets you to reveal your plans or evil scheme to the wrong people. There's nothing to prevent you from dropping them into a deathtrap afterwards, but should they survive, then you've got problems.
  • Trusting (-2): You don't like to believe that other people are capable of misleading and lying to you. After all, people are basically good, right?

IV. MAGIC

Magic: Lightning Magic
Caster or Holder: Caster
Description: Lightning magic is classified as elemental magic. The user of lightning magic may either cast it from their body, or summon it from the sky. The user harnesses the electrons in their body and in the atmosphere to cast and summon lightning. Lightening magic has strong offensive and decent defensive capabilities along with some supplementary capabilities. Lightning magic if used correctly can buff both speed and strength. Lightning magic can be molded into weapons, used as projectiles, and cause massive explosions in the right circumstances. Lightning magic can deal burn damage due to the high temperature of electricity, not only can it deal burn damage, but at high enough levels of lightning magic it can be used to trap and paralyze enemies. Though only temporarily.
Strengths: Lightning magic has several uses and strengths all of which will be listed in great detail. If one can think of it, and has the electrons and magic energy to make it, can be done. Lightning magic can be used to make weaponry which ranges from small daggers to large battle axes. To be more exact, he can make, knives, short swords, long swords, great swords, one-handed axes, battle axes, and everything in between. On the projectile front, He can cast bolts of lightning from his hands, finger tips, and even his mouth if he were desire to do so. This blasts of electricity can be molded into several different entities such as animals, mythical creatures, and so on and so forth. For example, if he want to make a lightning spell that resembled a dragon he could do so. On the supplementary/buff front of things, he can coat his body in the electrons in the air/atmosphere or use the ones in his body to over charge the muscles in his body. This allows him to enhance his strength/speed for a short amount of time. If he were to desire to make traps with this magic he could do so, by harnessing the electrons in the body and air, he can throw down rune like traps, when sprung they will shock and temporarily paralyze the enemy. On the defensive front he is able to project the electrons from his body, as well as pull them from the air/atmosphere in order to make defensive spells to shield himself from on coming attacks. Lightning magic does possess a few defensive capabilities but it's real strength lies in it's offensive capabilities. As everyone knows, electricity is hot so therefore it is also able to deal substantial to minor burn damage depending on the rank of the spell used. It has a natural strength agains water magic and metal magics, considering both are nothing but one giant conductor for the electricities current.
Weaknesses: As mentioned above, Lightning magic is far more useful in an offensive role, though it has defensive capabilities you will sometimes be better off casting a spell at the oncoming one in hopes of neutralizing it. For some stronger spells to be potent you will need to pull electrons from the atmosphere/clouds. On days where there are no clouds, the electrons in the users body may not be enough, and they could end up shocking themselves if they are not careful. Lightning magic has a natural weakness to earth magic, considering earth is not a conductor of electricity, if an earth mage were to cast a spell there is a strong possibility it would still be able to pass through the defensive spell that was cast in order to block it. The greatest weakness to all regular elemental magics, are the slayers that can eat their magics. For example the Lightning Dragon and God Slayers would have no problem dispatching a lightning mage. These are the weaknesses of lightning magic.
V. HISTORY

History: Solomon was born an only child to two loving parents. His parents had tried tirelessly to have a baby. After years of trying and being told it was impossible his mother and father had almost given up all hope. But then one night out of desperation they tried once more. A month later his mother would miss her cycle and she would rush to tell his father there was a chance she was with child. His father who didn't work to far from their home in Magnolia rushed to meet her to join in on the celebration. Months later he would rush home once more in the same excited manor as he did the first time. After twelve hours of hard labor, Solomon was birthed into this world. The doctor would comment to his parents that the children worth having are the ones who take so long to get here.

When Solomon was at the tender age of four years old something spectacular happened. Solomon's mother could hear laughter and excitement coming from the inside of her child's room. Out of curiosity to see what the rugrat was up to she opened the door to investigate. When she opened the door she was shocked to see what her son was doing. Little Solomon was paying with tangible electricity. Saying such things as. "Look mama, isn't it cool?" His mother was truly shocked to see what her child was doing. But at the same time she was in awe of what he was doing with the electrons in the air. He was making shapes out of it.
She would waste no time to inform his father and tell him that their baby had a gift for magic. Being the good father that he was, Solomon's father decided it best to help nurture his son's abilities. So everyday after Solomon finished his studies his father would set up targets outside, usually old cans. He would set these up for Solomon to practice his lightning magic on. He would have to hit at least five cans before he could stop. His aim was very poor, and he had little control over it. So often times he would pass out from using up all his magic energy. His father would carry him inside and tuck him in, and the next day they would try again.

One day while Solomon was walking home from the store with his mother, he and his mother were cornered by a group of thugs. His mother scared and begging for mercy. Solomon at that young of an age took matters into his own hands. Solomon discharged all the electricity in his body in a large blast. He had stepped in front of his mother in an effort to protect her before he released the attack. This blast of electricity left him very close to fainted, but it had stunned the thugs longer enough for his mother to grab him and make their escape. Upon returning home and telling his father what happened. They both made the decision that it was time for him to begin proper instruction on his magic. The local wizard guild Fairy Tail was always taking new members, and often had members nice enough to help young wizards hone their abilities.

In the next few days Solomon and his father found themselves making their way to the fairy tail guild. His father had requested an audience with the guild master. Upon meeting him, Solomon found himself approached by a kind man. He asked him if he had ever seen another wizard before. Solomon being so young he quickly hid behind his father when he was approached. The guild master laughed and told his father that they would work on his people skills while they were at it.

At the age of twelve Solomon would meet another child who was in the guild. He had what the master called a lost magic. It was far more special then that of other magics. Lost magics were said to be lost to this world long ago. But if look hard enough you're sure to find someone with one. As the years would go on the two children would become friends and rivals, but that rivalry would not last. As Solomon grew he was quickly finding out that not everyone has his love of getting stronger and constantly pushing themselves. Rather then try to change a place like Fairy Tail that had been the same for generations, he decided it best for him to forge his own path. Perhaps make a guild of his own. He met with his friend, and his guild master one last time before he finally disembarked from the guild. His former guild master wished him well in everything he did, and reassured him that he would always be a son of fairy tail, no matter what flag he flew.

Solomon then set out, trying to find his place in this world, often challenging stronger mages than himself. Winning some and losing some battles, but always making sure he won more then he lost. During these times of travel his mindset would begin to change. He would slow down a bit, getting stronger was still very important to him, but he was beginning to see there were other important things such as enjoying life, and creating friendships. In his travels he encountered a group of mages like he had never seen before. They all shared the same mindset as him. The all desired to get stronger and to be the best, but to still enjoy life, and to help those who want the same things as them. It was that thought that birthed the idea of a guild based around nothing but that. After months of preparing the guild known as sabertooth was born. With Solomon being the guild master. He pledged to always help his guild members work hard and to strive to accomplish great things.
