Nickname(s): Succubus, Vixen, Night Cat (also generally varies between multiple insults directed at women specifically)
Age: 24
Sex: Female
Birthday: 14th November, X756
Sexuality: Pansexual
Class: Scavenger
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Rank: D-class
Guild: Eisenwald
Guild Tattoo: Above the groin - red

II. APPEARANCE

Height: 5'6"
Weight: 116 lbs
Hair: Shoulder-length, Smooth, Silky, Blond.
Eyes: Brown.
General Appearance: In aspects of outer appearance, Lyra is - to say the least - beautiful. With her face and body, Lyra is likely to match most men's ideal fantasy of a woman; and she wouldn't like it any other way. The girl takes great pride in her perfectly proportioned, curved hourglass figure, boasting very boldly, proudly well-endowed sizes. Matching that, her perfect complexion of a face is also a strong charm point of hers, brown eyes complimented by her golden blond hair. And only further adding to her appeal, Lyra is more often than not, seen decorated with make-up on her face, the likes of lip gloss and blush making the most appearance.

Matching her personality, Lyra offers many, variable options for clothes or attires she will don; yet, it always seems to be suggestive in some way. Be it short skirts, tight pants, a low V-neck or just a strap top, Lyra's outfit is never set. Be sure however, she will dress in a provocative, revealing fashion, precisely for what it suggests. Moreover, she seems to always get updated on the latest fashion hits, and matches her attire accordingly.

Extra: Just for the fun of it, Lyra can be seen wearing her hair in different styles in different days. It goes oddly per days of the week, yet the order keeps changing every time.

III. PERSONALITY

Personality: The most obvious trait about Lyra, is her lecherousness. Man or woman, it doesn't matter; so long as Lyra gets the pleasure of satisfying or being satisfied, it's alright with her. She will often push manners to sex somehow, in some way, and resort to it as an activity of plain fun, seeing it as nothing more than a pleasurable 'hobby'. Her job focuses around such as well, acting as a stripper performer in Eisenwald out of her own free will. Thing is, her overlecherous nature could be oddly explained in her drastic need for people's attention, refusing to back down from people's minds. Hate her, love her, but please, notice her. Lyra cannot exist without being noticed, it is like nourishment for her mind. She requires it to stay sane, and as such, will often offer herself with an absurdly perverted approach to get people around to see her. With her appearance, such is easily pulled off too. Lyra utterly fears becoming 'invisible', unnoticed and infamous. More or less, this is why, she doesn't care if women around the world will hate her for preying deliberately on taken men. Jealousy, you can say.

Despite serving in a Dark Guild, Lyra can't kill anyone. She can strike them with her whip a thousand times and leave numerous marks, but never take somebody's life; she just fears it, for some reason, excusing it with a passive excuse of believing in superstition. As a person, non-stripper, Lyra doesn't exactly reflect the Dark Wizard image. She's playful and energetic, curious to try out new things just for the fun of it and treating many serious things as nothing more than simple games. She seems careless about her own life, but in her own way, she gains the strength to keep safe. Lyra enjoys teasing people just to see their reactions, naughty as she is. Simply enough, Lyra is a free spirit, and nothing will keep her from going her way and doing what she wants - to good or bad. But over that, the woman is also ridiculously innocent, contradicting her status. She will believe the easiest of lies and superstitious matter, and treat it seriously as facts, subjecting her to many tricks that can be pulled off even by little children. Moreover, Lyra wouldn't even suspect a person to trick her when they do. That doesn't necessarily make her dumb or stupid, merely naive. Once she realizes she's tricked, she's likely to go take her revenge somehow, in a fitting manner.

Lyra has a certain inferiority complex, caused by her failure at properly taking care of her younger sister. She needs to be the best and excel in all that she decides to do, to prove to herself she is that great. When someone arrives and threats her status, she will turn strongly guarded, defending herself. She is also prone to getting depressed often, over thinking about her 'worth' and seeming demotivated about anything. Even her love for money cannot cure her from such depressions, though she has resorted to numerous sexual opportunities in attempt to sweep her mind off it.

Likes:

  • Sex
  • Money
  • Hot weather
  • Shiny things
  • Candy
  • Her job

Dislikes:

  • Alcohol
  • Not having her way
  • Cold weather
  • Being alone
  • Asexuals
  • Stench

Motivations:

  • Sex: Lyra's most favorite activity and latest trend, it appears. Because of her lust, it's easy to make Lyra do things with the offering of sexual intercourse; yet, she's likely to use the same method. Watch out for verbal spars.
  • Jewels: Lyra is greedy by nature. She wants things, whatever value they might hold. Because of how this world works, Jewels is the key to getting lots and lots of things. It gets you clothes, jewelry, protection, luxury, sometimes even company and love.
  • Fun: When she likes something, she sees enough reason in it to do that. Lyra is selfish in that, she will do what she wants - and that means, anything she finds fun. It's easy, but effective.

Fears:

  • Becoming Unattractive: Probably Lyra's greatest fear. She gets by with many things - especially sex - using her attractive figure and seduction capabilities. If she happened to somehow lose her appeal, it would cost her dearly with many of her favorites, and likely degrade her drastically. She wouldn't stand it. This has some relation to Fear of Aging as well.
  • Monophobia: Lyra is very needy and requires the company of other beings around her at all times. She can't handle being left alone, and is another reason for her fear of becoming unattractive. She's afraid of being cast aside, forgotten or abandoned, and as such always needs to keep herself in the center of attention, or at least try to. That is because, being all alone is likely to break her mind. True excise for her love of sex? Maybe.

Positive Traits:

  • Acrobatic (+3): You have excellent body awareness and coordination.
  • Agile (+3): You are particularly flexible and poised.
  • Animal Affinity (+2): You are good with animals.
  • Animal Tongue (+4): You are capable of speaking with animals.
  • Nimble Fingers (+2): You are adept at manipulating small, delicate objects. This involves things such as a small mechanics and locks.
  • Persuasive (+2): You have a way with words and body language. Somehow you manage to persuade weaker minded people easily.
  • Swift (+3): You are fleet of foot. When running, you move three times your normal speed.
  • Zealot [Whip] (+4): This person has trained themselves to wield a specific type of weapon.

Negative Traits:

  • Arrogant (-1): You firmly believe that you are better than anyone else is. Your ideas are the best, your clothes are the most stylish, and you have to let everyone else know how much better you are. Once in a while you openly show contempt or disdain for someone else.
  • Bad Reputation (-1): You have a reputation that angers or frightens people. Examples include being unlucky, petty, or cruel. The rep may or may not be accurate, but in either case, word travels faster than you do. Lyra's case is easily difficult with women in a relationship.
  • Cautious (-1): You are uneasy engaging in behavior that carries a chance of failure. You must spend twice as long performing any skill that requires an action. For example, deciphering a page of text would take 2 minutes for you instead of 1.
  • Curiosity (-1): You're a naturally curious person and you find mysteries of any sort irresistible. In most circumstances, alas, your curiosity overrides your common sense.
This forces you to investigate something unusual, even if it looks like it might be dangerous.
  • Dependent (-3): You have a ward or charge that depends on you, usually a young child or elderly relative that needs you to provide for them and devote at least part of your time to them. In money terms, this will cost you five percent of your jewels a month. You may also be required to stay near home often in case you are needed. In Lyra's case, it is her sister and 3 pet dogs.
  • Derangement/Insanity (-6): Due to circumstances beyond your control, you are permanently insane. You may have a congenital brain disorder, or perhaps you saw something mortals were never intended to lay eyes upon, and it drove you mad.

    • Phobia (Monophobia): A character afflicted by a phobia persistently fears a particular object or situation. She realizes that the fear is excessive and irrational, but the fear is disturbing enough that she avoids the stimulus. Lyra is terrified of being left alone.
Depression: Symptoms of this illness include changes in appetite, weight gain or loss, too much or too little sleep, persistent feeling of tiredness or sluggishness, and feelings of worthlessness or guilt, leading in severe cases to hallucinations, delusions, stupor, or thoughts of suicide.

  • Envious (-1): Everyone else seems to have it better than you do. They have more money, better toys, and a prettier wife. You tend to get envious over the smallest things. You're often dislikes due to the constant mutterings and complaints you utter, along with the dirty stares you offer those you deem as better off than yourself.
  • Greedy (-1): Money makes your eyes light up with joy. The more, the merrier, as long as it spends. Once in a while, whenever you're divvying up shares of the loot, being offered a hefty bribe, or catching wind of some fabulous treasure, the flaw can to convince you to grab for as much money as possible.
  • Hedonistic (-1): You love a good time. You party too much, drink too much, and eat too much. You have trouble resisting an invitation to join someone in a drink and sometimes shirk your duty if offered a more enjoyable time elsewhere. Whenever a good time is presented you let your guard. You're also not capable to resist seduction of any sort. It's just not in your nature to resist such opportunities.
  • Intolerance (-1): You have an irrational dislike of a certain thing. It may be an animal, a class of person, a situation, or just about anything at all. In Lyra's case, she can't tolerate alcoholic drinks and candy - because she's alcohol-intolerant.
  • Lecherous (-1): You have a lusty nature and a tendency to pursue the pleasures of the flesh. A woman or a man (however your tastes run) is an almost irresistible temptation to you. You give in to these temptations easily.
  • Merciful (-1): For a villain, you have a terrible weakness--you don't like to hurt people. Given the choice, you'd rather exile your deposed brother to another country than do him in. Whether this is because you want him to live knowing that you beat him, or whether you just have a small soft spot down in your heart somewhere, the result is the same: your enemies keep coming back again and again.
  • Righteous (-1): The end justifies the means. You are willing to perform morally repugnant actions in order to achieve noble goals. Unfortunately, this can alienate those people who might support your cause if you didn't use such heavy-handed methods.
  • Star-crossed (-1): You keep falling in love with the wrong people. You're the common soldier who falls in love with the king's daughter at first sight, or the hero who falls for the villain's daughter without knowing who she is.
  • Trusting (-2): You don't like to believe that other people are capable of misleading and lying to you. After all, people are basically good, right?

IV. MAGIC

Magic: Chiroptera [Bats] Magic
Caster or Holder: Caster
Description: Chiroptera is the order name of winged mammalian animals, more commonly known as Bats. Chiroptera Magic allows the user to create different kinds of bats in different sizes and types from their magic alone, and then manipulate them to their will. There is no set manner to using this form of magic, but the bats seemingly exit from the user's body as if a detached limb's extension, or if the bats would be growing out of them. Because these are purely magical, the bats disperse after a small while, back into magical nothingness. The bats created from this magic can be used for any purpose so long as it remains in the creature's general ability's limit, and if attempted to exceed their limit, will simply perish to nothingness.
Strengths: The magic benefits the user mainly in long-range: the bats can be used for any purpose the user commands them to, such as assaulting an opponent or acting as a shield to block attacks. The variety of types of bats, mythical or regular, is greatly vast - with over a thousand species existing - and each has their own unique traits, to be generated and used by the user. As they are magical, any form of general sense derangement does not affect them at all. They also have a certain, rather high resistance to Darkness Magic forms, thanks to being magical. Lastly, experienced Chiroptera Magic practitioners can force their will on actual, living bats.
Weaknesses: All limitations bats have in actuality apply to bats created through this form of magic too. Bats, while resilient to Darkness element, are weak to fire and Fire Magic forms. In addition, the bats created with this are physical and can be harmed physically. Most of the time, prolonged maintenance of bats created would require constant feeding of magic to the subjects. They also are incapable of exceeding their natural limits on strength or speed. In addition, most - if not all - manners of attack and defense, and general usage of this magic, is quite predictable.

V. HISTORY

History: Lyra Brictom was born to a poor family in the borders of Fiore Kingdom as the firstborn child to a rather happy pair of parents. She was treasured and prioritized, given much love and affection so she could grow up in the right direction, her mother mothering her at home and father working overtime in handyman jobs, barely making enough to get by. They were a rather happy bunch, except for the fact they had no Jewels for their own good. Seeking help, the father joined several underworld organizations and guilds, trying to properly raise his family.

Three years after Lyra's birth, another, unplanned child was born. She was named Risa, and was the weaker link; she was born with a weak body, and the family's small fortune couldn't afford to pay for another child. Moreover, the parents didn't seem to care for the sickly kid as much as they did for Lyra. It was up to the older sister to look after Risa, if the parents refused to properly take responsibility.

When Lyra was 9, it was revealed her father had become a full-time member of the dark guild Eisenwald, through a scam pulled off by the guild, blackmailing the man into selling his very family to the guild once he passes on. They sought to take his life ever since, attempting to hasten the recruitment as much as possible. In between running for his own life and caring for a family of still 4, he had gone mad. He started becoming abusive and often let his anger out at his younger daughter and wife. Seeing this, Lyra took Risa with her one night and simply escaped. The desperate father died not even three days later, his wife following.

Two young girls alone in the world; naturally, survival was only possible with enough miracles. Lyra took an assertive, productive stand and started taking on Mage requests with an anonymous name and only an address handed away. Measly jobs that anybody could do, while traveling from town to town with her sister, just to come by. Without knowing, Lyra made a name for herself. She was requested more often, but declined anything that could keep her away from her sister or endanger her too much. At a certain point, Risa decided to help too.

Both sisters came to very heavily regret that; Risa was more talented in magic than Lyra, and progressed faster over the years, allowing her to believe she could take a more dangerous task. It was a hunting mission, and if Lyra wasn't around, Risa would have surely died. The hunt itself, was just oddly too difficult for a mission of that caliber, and they obviously failed it, Risa suffering intense injuries. When they were about to return to their claimed home, wizards arrived to pick them up.

Those were wizards of Eisenwald, and they kidnapped the pair to their guildhouse. Lyra begged them to leave Risa to be, so she could take care of her in such a bad state. In response, Lyra got her wish - and experienced rough intercourse for the first time. It was awful; Rape.

Apparently, the guild had a suspicion that Lyra was the kid running around and taking requests anonymously, and put up a mock request to lure the two in. Lyra was bound to the guild, but was allowed to still look after her sister; both were to become members of the guild eventually, and in Risa's condition, it was only natural that nursing was in order. But this was Lyra's business alone. To make things easier, the two sisters pulled out a faked death scene, 'killing' Risa in-front of the guild. Lyra payed for her carelessness with her body again.

8 years have passed since, Lyra now being 24. She changed her mindset entirely, apparently went mad in the attention she constantly drew to herself. Risa is still being taken care of, along with three dog pups found by the sickly sister. To help them live, Lyra had turned into a detested existence in public.

But, in all truth, it's fun as hell.

Hiya, I'll be pre-reviewing the application!

Theme Song: Remove this.

Place a space after the last paragraph of your Personality and Likes.

Phobia: State what this is next to Phobia. I.E. Phobia (Arachnofobia): blah blah blah.

Magic: Taking on the aspects of a bat (transforming limbs and such) is Takeover territory. I can understand having a hundred bats carrying you so that you can fly at later ranks, but not transforming full limbs. Please remove this.

Because the bats are magical, they do not need echolocation, and blindness wouldn't affect them anyway as they are your means of attack. (Think blinding a fireball). Also, echolocation is a form of 'sound magic', if these are indeed magical beings, and that is not allowed. Please remove this part.

Bump when edited.
